Why doesn't your "whole Bible view" include Universalism?

Oh I agree, which is Why Jesus came so that all the world MAY be saved. But it does not mean the whole world will be saved. God made a condition. He will not force his salvation on you. If you do not want it. He will grant you your wish (now no one wants hell. But as we know from the word...

Why doesn't your "whole Bible view" include Universalism?

Ok, but what does this have to do with the bible contradicting itself? (My question) You just gave three apposing views or interpretations of the Bible. Do those view prove the Bible contradicts itself. Or do those apposing views or interpretations prove that some people are misinterpreting...

Ripped and Torn - What pages have you torn out of your Bible?

I am not going to ask you. Because i agree it would leave you open. But except for Luther wishing james was not in the word. I have never heard anyone say such a thing.. I applaud your honesty!

Doctrinolatry - tribalism and division in the Body of Christ

James said do not let anyone accuse God of tempting them.. Is james wrong? There is a difference between being tested. And being tempted. I can not be tempted if I am following the spirit. I can only be tempted if I am prone to give into that temptation.

Doctrinolatry - tribalism and division in the Body of Christ

How can we come together? an arminian says salvation can be lost, they point to self A calvinist says salvation can never be lost But they pump themselves up and say God put them up for salvation but not others and a universalist says it does not matter what we believe, we will all get to...

Doctrinolatry - tribalism and division in the Body of Christ

Actually this is false Satan fell because he got pumped up with pride and thought he could be better than God.

Doctrinolatry - tribalism and division in the Body of Christ

Would it be better off if God snapped his fingers the moment Adam and Eve sinned and started over? lets think about this. How many adam and eves would God need to create before the two of them never sinned, and even if that be the case. When they had children, if one of them sinned, Does God...

Doctrinolatry - tribalism and division in the Body of Christ

I believe God took responsibility 1. He came to earth as a man 2. He suffered the death of the cross 3. He gives every man woman and child the ability and the chance to reverse their rejection of him, and their pride of being their own God in repentance and recieve this gift. in the end, when...

Doctrinolatry - tribalism and division in the Body of Christ

Um no. God did not tempt adam, if Adam had stayed true to his nature that God gave him, he never would have been tempted. He was tempted when sin kept its ugly head and he questioned God.

Doctrinolatry - tribalism and division in the Body of Christ

So here we go. We have an appearance contradiction. so how do we solve this contradiction? If God temps no person with evil, then how did God create evil if God created evil. By defenition. He is the one who temps. Because he created it to begin with.

Doctrinolatry - tribalism and division in the Body of Christ

God invited satan to play a game? where do you come up with this thinking if I may ask? God calls it a war. Are wars fun and Games?

Doctrinolatry - tribalism and division in the Body of Christ

I disagree God did not create satan to be the ruler of evil. Nor did he create mankind to be divided between good and evil. death was not part of Gods plan.. But just as satan rebelled. So to did mankind, and death is the result. its part of who God is, God is a God of love, You cannot love...

Doctrinolatry - tribalism and division in the Body of Christ

But not everyone who claims to be a part of the body of christ is actually the body of christ. Just because someone calls themselves a church does not mean they are a true church of our heavenly father

Doctrinolatry - tribalism and division in the Body of Christ

You must not get out much. Churches where I have been (and I have been to churches all over the country) do not normally act this way. Many churches I have been to actually invite other churches to organized events, and are united on the mission.

Doctrinolatry - tribalism and division in the Body of Christ

it goes both ways though One side attacks another side.. then on the other hand, a person is so offended that someone disagrees with somethign they said. They they go on the attack against the person who disagrees with them You can not fight one and not fight the other.

Doctrinolatry - tribalism and division in the Body of Christ

Sadly there are just some doctrines that tear the christian faith apart. they do not even allow certain things into the church in the NT, why should we do it in the church We can not just allow any belief to enter into our walls Noe as far as denominations go. Most denominations do not...

Ripped and Torn - What pages have you torn out of your Bible?

No page should be ripped out Just because someone disagrees with you. Does not mean anyone should rip a page out of a bible We should not be so proud in our belief we think we have it all figured out. Most disagreements are based on interpretation of certain passages. Not that we want to tear...

Why doesn't your "whole Bible view" include Universalism?

Which is another way of saying exactly what I said If your not born again, you will not be resurrected. Only those who are born again, saved, or given eternal life will be ressurected by him (john 6) You will be delievered to christ for Judgment (Rev 20) Also note. Those who have eternal life...

Oh I am sorry, Forgive me, This must be a @St. SteVen and @Ritajanice joy thread. They do not want apposing views here. I do agree. About the pages being ripped out. Bus we must remember, most doctrinal differences are not because we ignore what art of the Bible says so we have to...
