You're not the only one, but so many believe so thoroughly in doctrines of demons they call us heretics to suggest that Jesus actually does take away our sin. They would rather misinterpret 1 John 1:8 and justify having their pet sins.

I just want to leave you with one question. Does your dissection of verses coincide with Jesus taking away our sin completely. Or in your mind do you rationalize that it is taken away only partially? What would a demon want you to believe? That Jesus is a liar???

Both. But "perfection" takes longer. The uninformed attack with the term sinless perfection. There is no such thing. Perfection is after maturing in all of the fruit of the Spirit and the steps are 2 Peter 1:5-7 But Jesus taught both! And that is what matters. John 8:32-36 and John 15
