@Truman I suppose your son's mother thought for him it would add some individuality as he became an adult, right? It was probably something he wanted to do anyway, but she likely thought it would be a way of expressing his personality.

@Truman Well, this is good! I think a lot of Christians think not in terms of a faith based tattoo (Bible verse or ref., etc.) as a need, but as a proven pragmatic tool that works in encouraging testimony conversations. But you are right; it's not a need, as such.

@Truman Some ppl do get tattooed with a faith based design for it to be a tool to talk to others, yes. Others seem to get them as a personal reminder.

Interesting how at the Transfiguration the Lord Jesus was seen with Moses and Elijah: Romans 3 speaks of the righteous of God without the law being witnessed by the law and the prophets: the parts of the Old Testament sometimes personified by Moses and Elijah.

Hi @Heart2Soul I love how John records that the Lord Jesus said, of the Holy Spirit: "He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you." (John 16.14).
