    BLAMING

Blame is the way/ mechanism of self exoneration. It surfaced in Eden with Adam when God had that friendly chat after the snake episode. Accusation and blame, those cosy bedfellows endemic to any and all who haven't seen or don't want to see how much they are loved.

Does anyone want to compare Old Testament Prophecy to Revelation?

Sin is the problem. It started with Lucifer and he attracted a goodly amount of angels into his orbit. It has further spread its malignant tentacles to the inhabitants of Earth. It requires a solution.....and how does God solve it? Does God use force? ie, does he violate the free choice he has...

    How Evil Are Humans?

They might be able to fill you in on how the record of the Torah came about.

What happens to your soul when you die?

Who does the destroying and who is it we are to fear? John 10:10 'The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. Jesus is referring to Devil, he is the one to fear, he is the thief. Isn't it strange how we dump this onto God? make God...

What happens to your soul when you die?

Revelation is figurative unless it's obviously not. The above is clearly figurative. Souls under the altar represent all those people who have died for the testimony they held.

    How Evil Are Humans?

How does what you've said here relate to my comments about Adam?

    How Evil Are Humans?

I think in the Earth made new we will know. Revelation 22:4 tells us we will see his face.

    How Evil Are Humans?

I had imagined that the powers of observation in man straight from the hand of God would have been equal to none. It appears Adam named the animals in a day. I guess he would have observed their traits/ characteristics and given them names accordingly. This tells me he was the sharpest cookie!

SEDEVACANTISM: THE CHAIR OF ST. PETER IS INDEED VACANT

It is also characteristic of those who hold your position to be quick to accuse and what is most alarming is the accusation is made against those they do not know. In my book, that tells a story!

    How Evil Are Humans?

Man learning from the animals?....thats an interesting one! Made in God's image I imagine they learned from God through the intermediary of angels if not directly?

Malachi, a Prophet for the End Times

Stuff like this happens on an intermittently regular basis. The report button used at the bottom of the post gets rid of the culprit

How do we develop the tools for not being taken in by poor philosphy? Also, dangerious Theology?

How do we develop the tools for not being taken in by poor philosphy? Also, dangerious Theology? Knowing Jesus becomes the guiding light in understanding/ interpreting scripture. It will shield from slippery philosophies and dangerous theologies. How does one do that ie, apply knowing him to...

Maybe you could go and ask a religious Jew?

    How Evil Are Humans?

Yes, Eve's word quoting God's words which are Moses's words quoting who or what? Did God tell him blow for blow what had transpired in word and action or was it the accepted oral tradition of story telling in the Hebrew culture passed down from Father or Mother to Son or Daughter through the...

What happens to your soul when you die?

As I read Timothy (1 Timothy 6:16) only God has immortality......but from your understanding, Adam and Eve had it also for you say 'then they became mortal' Mortal means subject to death and this death was a consequence of their disobedience as foretold by God ....but according to you, the soul...

What happens to your soul when you die?

sorry, putting words in my mouth doesn't wash. However, you do know what I am talking about as you are familiar with the dialog between God and Eve as evidenced by your post #471 in the thread 'How Evil Are Humans?

Does anyone want to compare Old Testament Prophecy to Revelation?

Yes, they wrote of it but didn't understand it. That becomes obvious by other things they expressed or did......and further, as I said previously, the connection was never made by the religious professionals. On various levels today the connection is also not made, subsequently the multitude of...

Does anyone want to compare Old Testament Prophecy to Revelation?

It seems none of the Prophets had envisaged God's solution to the sin problem. I think even the angels were gobsmacked by the slaughtered lamb shown by John to be in the middle of the Throne......subsequently the periods of silence in heaven. Additionally, it occurred to no-one in the Hebrew...

What happens to your soul when you die?

All who trust in Jesus know he lives. Fancy footwork in the form of questions to bamboozle the unsuspecting is a set up no different to the Serpents question to Eve, 'did God really say........' Genesis 3:1
