How Former Believers Are Still Saved?

There are a couple of things that come to mind Chris, Jesus said very clearly that the treasures we stored up in heaven can never be destroyed. Another Scripture points out that God does not forget what we did for His name Heb 6:10. The bad thing is that if Jesus returns tomorrow, those who are...

    Steps toward salvation

How does one become a Christian heading toward the goal of salvation? Here is the process: First, an individual will hear about God, then decides to pursue it further. They will become a student and progressively comes to know and love Jehovah and put faith in Him. (John 3:16; 17:3) The student...

The Lord's Day (Rev. 1:10) - Sabbath (7th) or Sunday (1st) or Eschatological day or something else?

Sure, explain the lack of translation error in the easily seen Ps 110:1. I kinda you thought it was the Bible rather than a version

The Lord's Day (Rev. 1:10) - Sabbath (7th) or Sunday (1st) or Eschatological day or something else?

The Bible identifies God's people Re. Jehovah does not leave anyone out in the cold so to speak. But you have to choose to go with His people sir.

CHRIST : The end of the Law

You are quite correct, but what does that have to do with the topic? Did you not get the sense of what God inspired through James Friend?

    Carnal Christians Are Saved Believers

The Bible does not contradict itself Chris, the anointed gain life upon death at this time, the remainder of Christians will come to life when the pass the test at the end of the millennial reign of Christ. The point of the verses you posted concerning salvation is that some will be saved.

    Virtues?

Same reply, no. But we can pray for and work hard to live the fruitages of the spirit, within our imperfect state however.

    Gifts of the spirit?

No, not in themselves. But like you said they are gifts, and they benefit us both now, and in the future. Not every Christian has the same gifts, but usually you will excel in at least some avenue of your relationship with God.

Believing in Jesus Christ Is How We Are Saved

Absolutely no one who doesn't believe in Jesus will be saved for sure Chris, but don't forget the other part, doing the will of God is what actually saves Mat 7:21

    Lord's Day

Hi Barn, been a while since we conversed. Hope all is ok sir. I definitely agree, in fact it is an extensive period of time.

The Lord's Day (Rev. 1:10) - Sabbath (7th) or Sunday (1st) or Eschatological day or something else?

I would say you are biased sir, as I once was, maybe even you think the King James is the Bible, rather than a Version of such. It blatantly alters passages to promote Jesus as being God, and has deceived many into believing this. It took me a long time, but I believe that the NWT is the most...

What Happens When You Believe in Jesus Christ

Obviously every Christian has faith, Faith. But of course faith does not make them a Christian. I would venture to say that those men of Mat 7:21-23 had a tremendous faith, yet they represented the other god. I as well would hate to think that God is so evil, that a newer Christian who had not...

    Carnal Christians Are Saved Believers

The same way that believers are saved Chris. Neither are saved or condemned at this time. The preaching work is still going on, and it is not being done to gather the believers, rather the unbelievers. You will know beyond a reasonable doubt when Mat 24:14 is fulfilled.

    Carnal Christians Are Saved Believers

All humans are carnal for sure, and yes some of us will be saved. In fact, some of us will become spirit beings.

    Job 2:10

Time will tell Stred, but I think not. Jas 1:13-15 The account of Job tells point blank who did those things to Job. Remember those was Job's words not Jehovah's, he had no idea why those things were happening to him, as none of us can see behind the scenes. He had no knowledge that he was...

The Lord's Day (Rev. 1:10) - Sabbath (7th) or Sunday (1st) or Eschatological day or something else?

Rev 1 is a very confusing chapter RE, some verses apply to Jehovah and some to Jesus, can be difficult ascertaining which ones belong to whom. Some versions of the Bible omit God after Lord in verse 8 which can lead one to believe that Jesus is the Almighty, a term used exclusively referring to...
