Homosexual Wedding Cake, "Colorado Baker Wins", Supreme Court 7/2 Decision!

"Actually, not a "win", at all. The only thing that court did was tell the Homosexuals that they need to select another basic complaint, and not use "religion" just yet... That is, not until they can get "religion" declared a crime.

Is this out of your reasoning?

    So, you're Catholic?

Is this out of your reasoning?

It doesn't seem odd to you to make decisions about things you even admit you know nothing about?

Is this out of your reasoning?

Aren't you glad Simon didn't say that to his brother, Andrew, when he came to find him and tell him to come hear this Jesus who wasn't selling the same old traditional stuff?

Just the opposite of how Jesus was seen...

Uh...….. BoL, what are you even talking about? The thread is about the definition of a word.

    Should a Full-Time Pastor Work?

Yes, I do take exception with congregations who are every bit as expectant of a man as he might be presumptuous of his own perceived importance.... yet they are (may be) unwilling to get up off their $ to support someone they want to be as accessible as a hired and adequately-compensated employee.

Just the opposite of how Jesus was seen...

Kind of interesting when you actually stop and THINK about it. or·tho·dox ˈôrTHəˌdäks/ adjective adjective: orthodox; adjective: Orthodox 1. (of a person or their views, especially religious or political ones, or other beliefs or practices) conforming to what is generally or traditionally...

Is this out of your reasoning?

This whole thing of "The Shack hating" with my new minister has inspired me to copy the book to my hard drive so I can easily search any word or phrase in the whole thing at a moment's notice. And the one thing I have found (besides the fact that most of the detractors have never even read the...

Jesse Duplantis's Trip to Heaven!! Who would call him a liar?

Not really. He does his thing, and I just pass over whatever TV channel he happens to be on.

Jesse Duplantis's Trip to Heaven!! Who would call him a liar?

I believe HE thinks he did. And, "Yea" or "Nay", it really makes no difference in my life or walk with Jesus. The Bible never asked me to believe in Jesse Duplantis.

    Should a Full-Time Pastor Work?

"What do you mean the preacher is going to Disney World with his family on Saturday, his only day off?" "I want him to marry us that day!"

    Should a Full-Time Pastor Work?

What do you mean, "The preacher can't come to the hospital to be with my child who was just crushed in a car accident... because he doesn't get off work until 5:00?" (Let him try to handle three emergencies like that a week, and see how soon he gets fired from his job that some here insist he...

    Should a Full-Time Pastor Work?

"We want our preacher to open the church during a hurricane."...…. "Oh, he can't?" Why not?" Because he works for the Power Company and is on duty, staying at the company bunkhouse until the hurricane is over...…… Or because he is a fireman or a hospital worker, caught in the same situation.

    Should a Full-Time Pastor Work?

How many of you would rather drop $4 or $5 in the basket, weekly, in order to have a pastor well-versed in what he was preaching, and who was available to all congregants 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.... than to find out on Sunday that his company had him working out of state for two weeks...

They would just be ridiculed if they did live today.

Frightening, but they are out there...

Well, you remember what Forrest Gump's mother said?

    Golden Rule

There are noticeable differences...…. the main one being that God came to serve us, and most other religions demand that they are the ones who serve their god instead.
  19. Willie T

    Golden Rule

Yes, that is exactly what I am talking about... but it does go a bit deeper into doing good to others as opposed to just not hurting them. (Good eye and good thinking, BTW.)

    Golden Rule

I guess no one else has yet seen the "contrast" I mentioned that spotlights the fact that this really is NOT a universally considered law?
