One thing I’ve always wanted to know is this concept of the thick literal curtain in the temple of Jerusalem being split in to at the crucifixion of Christ. Is this something that was born out of Catholic doctrine?

Precisely, most will contend that a literal curtain in a stone building was rent. Paul is clearly stating the vail rent was the flesh of the temple Christ. It’s the way in.

It seems that flesh is primarily used in context to the observation of Judaism.

What? Who’s seed do you believe Paul was sowing into the churches of God? Children and women don’t sow seed. A Full grown man sows.

Some do believe that this is a future event. I believe that as Jesus was the image of the invisible God,,,, Paul was the image of the resurrected Christ. A Man in the body. I see Christ walking in him in his letters, and the love he has for the brethren.

I believe there is a certain sequence to it all. It seems there has to be belief, seed, birth, and then growth into a perfect Man, the man Jesus Christ!
