God's Word does ""not"" teach that baptism is essential for salvation.

Ummm.....are you ignoring the passage from Scripture that says “baptism now saves you”????? Are you ignoring that Paul baptized? Why did he baptize? To fulfill Jesus commandment kiddo.... So why do you ignore what Paul DID and accept what you have been taught by the Reformation??? Curious Mary

Right....He baptized Hardly anyone.....but he did follow the COMMANDMENT of Jesus and Baptize people. Scripture says Baptism now saves you.....You say it doesn’t.....Why is this so difficult to comprehend? You do follow Scripture....Don’t you???

God's Word does ""not"" teach that baptism is essential for salvation.

Truly disgusting what @friend of is doing...find the passages that support his belief and ignore the ones that destroy his belief. It’s been happening for 2,000 years....nothing new to The Church. thank you historyb for defending Scripture.

God's Word does ""not"" teach that baptism is essential for salvation.

How confusing your words are. You disagree with me by saying “‘except he didn’t” but then say he didn’t baptize many...Huh???? Did not baptize many = did not baptize ANY in your book??? Paul did as Jesus commanded...He baptized. End of story....

Ummmm.......No, Scripture and The Church teach that you would be saved. Just like the thief on the cross. Mary

Christ didn’t send Paul to baptize....but he baptized just like Jesus commanded: Baptize all nations> Soooo Paul fulfilled the commandment of Jesus.

God's Word does ""not"" teach that baptism is essential for salvation.

From The Word Of God: Baptism now saves you. From the word of “friend of”: Baptism is not what saves anyone. Friend of teaching opposite of Scripture???

Thanks friend of, Soooooo are you suggesting it is ok to leave water baptism, the baptism that saves, out of this discussion? After all the OP says that baptism is not essential for salvation when Scripture clearly teaches opposite of that theory Do you believe that water baptism is essential...

    Mother of James?

I think The Church is what scripture says it is: the pillar and foundation of truth that has the authority to decide who is to be treated as a pagan or tax collector! I have found that Church and you are more than welcome to join it.

    Mother of James?

Hi triump, So what you have presented is your opinion....that is unless you are able to provide historical evidence that they “had no choice but to submit “? I patiently await your evidence...

I’m willing to bet those poor people were happy to have a job

    Mother of James?

Which “body of believers” do you and @Pearl go to to fulfill 1 Timothy 3:15? I’m willing to bet each of you go to a different “body of believers” for your pillar and foundation of truth and they disagree with each other. See how your theory makes no sense?
