    The GRAVE = Job 7;9, Hosea 13;14, John 5;26-30

You make an interesting point maam, so since we know the Bible does not contradict itself, how can we harmonize that with the resurrection and all those in the grave coming out? Rev 20:13

What is the proper way of praying to God?

Position is irrelevant Stred, as is timing or place. I personally do not pray on the toilet, as I consider it disrespectful. Prayer should always be sincere and respectful. It can be given even silently, as God knows our heart and thoughts. Jesus taught us how to pray, and proper things to pray...

    Why God tests us

I agree that God knows, but not cause Friend. James 1:13-15 You see we became our own gods when Adam sinned, God granted that to Adam, and we inherited it. True, we can still be obedient to God, and worship Him, but He does not force us to, nor direct our lives against our will.

The Choice Is Ours = Deuteronomy 30;19, Joshua 24;15

Simply look at the evidence Amad. I personally believe that the removal of God's name is the biggest contributor to people believing Jesus is God, do you agree? Salvation is important to me, and most likely to most. I would really salute and respect an individual who knew beyond any doubt that...

The Choice Is Ours = Deuteronomy 30;19, Joshua 24;15

I simply state truth maam, you and I both know you do not have one close friend that you do not call by name. When Jesus returns one of the qualifications for life is knowing God, I don't say this, the Bible does 2 Cor 1:8. It is satan that tries to keep God's name hidden from us, why? Because...

    Why God tests us

Amen to that for sure, yes we are all tested, and that tested quality strengthens our faith, usually. But keep in mind which god it is that is putting us to the test.

    Christ Life vs Religion

That is certainly the requirement Mike, I like the way the angel stated that point blank in the closing words of the Bible, Worship God he said Rev 22:9 Cant get any plainer than that for sure.

    Are you in the race?

Christians in particular are in a race, a race for life. All of us can win the prize, but you have to complete the race. One must endure to the end. The finish line and prize is close, so run the race with endurance that you too might have the victory. Heb 12:1 May we all cross that finish...

    Why God tests us

It is true that all Christians undergo tests of their faith sir, but why do you believe it is God who tests us?

    meaning behind the name satan

Good topic Stread. Interestingly satan is not named in the Bible, he has a few titles to his credit such as the one you used. satan means literally resistor/opposer and devil means slanderer. Names are very important to God, and they all have meaning. Sometimes He changes them as He did with...

    Christ Life vs Religion

Christ is a religious figure Soul, you know it is interesting how almost everything has religion involved. For instance one may not think of it, but all holidays are religious, days to be held holy. Holidays actually means holy days. satan has his hand in deception especially strongly now since...

Do any one use bible reading plans?

My thoughts are what ever works Friend. If it will get you into reading the Bible regularly I am definitely for it. Good Post!

The Choice Is Ours = Deuteronomy 30;19, Joshua 24;15

Let me just sum it up in honesty Cassy, Christians are required to teach all the things Jesus commanded, and of course obey them as well. Jesus made Gods name known, Jn 17:26, therefore his followers do the same as well. You personally stated that you do not say God's name, which of course is...

The Choice Is Ours = Deuteronomy 30;19, Joshua 24;15

Actually I don't consider it a lie per se, but it is a definite alteration. I also believe it was deliberately altered to support a belief. Many of the more complete versions tell of the alteration in their forward. But at any rate, changing what is written originally in the Bible is serious...

The Choice Is Ours = Deuteronomy 30;19, Joshua 24;15

Jehovah's people are not only bearers of the good news Amad, but also the agents through which Jehovah warns others. While the poster did not personally alter the passage, but her posting it, she showed full agreement with it. Do you understand what I mean? Changing Jehovah's name to LORD is a...

    Double Minded Christians

I fully agree, obedience to the Law of the Christ, is not only an identifier, but a requirement as well. Jesus made that known well at Mat 7:21-23

The Choice Is Ours = Deuteronomy 30;19, Joshua 24;15

There you have it maam. Thank you for making that clear. There are facts and there are opinions. The Bible either originally stated YHWH there or Adonai. I state it said YHWH, and you disagree. That is your choice. I on the other hand, having been drawn by Jehovah am now among a people for His...

    Double Minded Christians

All Christians believe Jesus is the son of God sir, the Bible repeatedly states that, as well as Jesus himself.

Knowing the Most Holy Name of God (YHVH) Exodus 6:2-9:35

It is interesting how most people say God's name is I AM Ben, and stop in verse 14, but of course that is not His name as you pointed out, He went on to give His name in verse 15, which He said was Jehovah (English), and that would be His name forever.

The Choice Is Ours = Deuteronomy 30;19, Joshua 24;15

She used a version of the Bible that changed Jehovah to LORD. Makes much more sense when you leave Jehovah's name where it is found in the Bible, much less confusing.
