    Once Saved Always Saved

Samson did. Jesus also warns the Churches that if they don't repent He will remove the Lampstand which is God's Spirit. That's in Revelation 2 and 3. This is why those who depart from the faith (eg, some of the Galatians) are told "You are severed from Christ". We're they PHYSICALLY attached to...

    Once Saved Always Saved

The Jews were also "redeemed", and "children of God" and then because of sin they became "no longer His Children" Dt 32:5, Ho 1:9,10. We are literally warned the same thing that happened to them can happen to us in 1 Co 10.

    Once Saved Always Saved

Yes and we see that it is consistently interpreted as" purpose" in the contemporary versions, and the word "unto" meant exactly that.

    Once Saved Always Saved

The "until" has to do with the "down-payment", and then the redemption is the fulfillment, not "you can't lose salvation because the seal will last until the day of redemption".

    All right.

    The Galatian Suppositions

Nope, Paul says he confronted this very same error before (Gentiles living under Law) in Gal 2 (where Peter was misleading the Church). The obvious reality was that the teaching hadn't yet completely overtaken the Church--some had been bewitched some had not (yet). This common sense reading...

    Once Saved Always Saved

King James English's "unto" doesn't mean "until" ; it means "for". Look at all the more contemporary versions.

    Once Saved Always Saved

Don't twist God's Words around. It doesn't say "until" it says "for"--yes that's what the seal is for, so don't grieve the Spirit or else.

    The Galatian Suppositions

LOL So Christ was of no avail to Paul because he was circumcised? What a mess. Dump Calvinism.

    Once Saved Always Saved

Yup, we are "sealed", and so we are warned not to grieve the Spirit--Samson grieved the Spirit and the Spirit left him, just as it is said "and whoever disregards this disregards not man but God Who gives His Spirit". Why even mention that? Because God can withhold His Spirit from those who'd...

    The Galatian Suppositions

Stop using logic. Words do not have meaning here. Superimposition of a predetermined narrative will show us the truth here!

    The Galatian Suppositions

"You observe days" and "whoever has been circumcised" means many had indeed bought into the lie and fallen from grace--for which reason Paul was "in pangs of labor until Christ be formed in you again". Why "again"? They had deserted God, been severed from Christ.

    The Galatian Suppositions

Absolutely : 1) These had heard the Gospel, and had begun by receiving the Spirit by hearing with faith, but were then trying to be perfected by works of Law (Gal 3:1-5). This is why Paul says they were "deserting [God] Who calls you in the grace of Christ" (Gal 1:6) which is the same as "fallen...
