    Where do aborted babies go?

I believe that is a good general summary of The Church’s teaching. :) Since Scripture doesn’t really tell us what happens to the souls of un-born babies how can we really know what happens to the souls of unborn babies? The Church suggest that thru Grace they probably go to heaven. What does...

    Where do aborted babies go?

The first question you posed was this: “Your church teaches now about a baby being a person at conception. How old is that idea?” Non-Scriptural writings showing that The Church was against abortion because it believed that the fetus was a human is articulated in 70AD with The Didache! Soooo...

    Where do aborted babies go?

Hi, Your name is “Spurgeon Girl”. Does that mean you follow the teachings of Charles Spurgeon? What I gave was my two cents since The Church does not have a defined doctrine on wether or not unborn babies go to heaven. Since you know that “the catechism of the Catholic Church is well known...

    Are you a chosen one?

Good point. I wonder if the chosen Scripture is referencing were chosen BEFORE conception? What are your thoughts?

    Perpetual virginity of Mary!

Thank you. I see you are unable to provide a passage from Scripture that says that Mary had many other children. The reason you were unable to provide it is because it isn’t there. Matthew 1:25 is used by some Protestants (not all Protestants support your interpretation) to support the theory...

    Perpetual virginity of Mary!

Hmmmmm......I wonder if I go back and look at your 1,500 posts since you have been on this forum if you ever interpreted scripture. Mary

    Perpetual virginity of Mary!

Hmmmm......I never said it took God 300 years to put it all together. It took man that long.....but God always knew. So it appears you have no historical evidence to prove that Christians considered ONLY the current 27 books of the NT as Scripture from the beginning????? Thank you for your time

    Perpetual virginity of Mary!

Sooooo no ones interpretation of Scripture can sway you? Even your own interpretation doesn't sway you?

    Perpetual virginity of Mary!

Well, that is the way SOME men have interpreted Scripture. What men do YOU rely on to properly interpret Scripture?

    Perpetual virginity of Mary!

Hi EG, Historically we know there were many letters being read at local churches that some churches considered Scripture and some churches didn't consider Scripture. Since there was disagreement amongst the churches as to what was Scripture The Church finally settled the dispute 300 years...

PETER AND PAUL ON BAPTISMS AND THE HOLY GHOST

    So Scripture contradicts itself?

    Jesus isn't Catholic

Necromancy is communicating with the dead. The souls in heaven aren't dead.

    Where do aborted babies go?

Well, an unborn baby is a person at conception. However, they did not have the chance to commit a sin so their is no stain of sin on their soul. A sinless soul goes to heaven. My two cents worth...Mary

    Are you a chosen one?

There is only one who was chosen. The rest of us have to work out our salvation (Philippians 2:12).

    Perpetual virginity of Mary!

Good point EG. In Scripture Pauls writings were called Scripture. When was the book of James first called Scripture? I can't seem to find a time frame on that one. Respectfully

    Perpetual virginity of Mary!

Thank you Candidus. No dodgeing going on here. I have accepted the longest held teaching of Christianity sooooo how am I dodging?? See if you can dodge these facts: The term brother (Gk. adelphos) has a broader meaning than uterine brothers. It can mean a biological brother, but it can also...

    Perpetual virginity of Mary!

Thank you. OK....I Think I've Got it now....The longest held (1,900 years in this case) teachings of Christianity are wrong because those teachings deviated from Biblical Christianity and are not Scriptural BUT the most recent teachings (500 years old in this case) of Christianity are right...
