    @Abigail Scripture does speak of a whole host of doctrines about the Person and work of Christ, which some deny.

    @Abigail So did you avoid a numbing cream also? :) I would hesitate to regard it as a rite; more as a pragmatic tool that works in witness conversations.

    Some of what you say is not accurate; it was the disciples of John in view in Acts 19 and not normative.

    Father, Son and Holy Spirit are deeply present in Scripture: end of Matthew 28, John's Gospel, esp. chs. 10 thru 17; Romans 8; John's First Epistle, etc.

    The Pre-Trib Rapture

    Hi @Naomi25 In terms of 1 Corinthians 10.32, if we ask, as well as 'what?' and 'when?', 'who?' in relation to the rapture, then this reference to the three distinct groups of people will give an answer. I know that many of a Reformed persuasion see little distinction between Israel and the church.
