    That's false. Water baptism does not obtain remission of sins but repentance (implied in faith in Christ) brings remission of sins. (Luke 24:47; Acts 3:19; 11:17,18; 15:7-9; 20:21) If you have not placed your faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation then you have not yet repented.
