Are you saying you are not a sinner? (1 John 1:8) disagrees with you. But then he says in (3:8), "He that committeth sin is of the devil;...." And then in (3:9), "Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin;...." So we know John is not saying because we are sinners that we are...

And who are you trying to judge with the topic of this thread? You want to sit in judgement of others as 'children of the devil', yet you cannot define who the children of the devil are. Of course it is everyone who is not like you...but then you too are found to be a sinner and so you...
