    Jesus and Commands

The ONLY way to interpret Colossians 2 is to conclude the mention of "sabbaths" refers to the yearly "Jewish sabbaths" that had to do with the seven yearly Jewish feasts. To claim it refers to the weekly Sabbath - and thus renders the weekly obsolete - is to ignore the plain distinction between...

    Jesus and Commands

We get a glimpse of the mind of God in His Word - and we're to pray for the mind of God in us (Philippians 2:5). I can't help it if so many distort His Word and then get offended when those of us who don't challenge their erroneous conclusions about the Ten Commandments. Encouraging Christians...

    Jesus and Commands

So, are you saying we're obligated to keep the Ten Commandments?

    Jesus and Commands

The only problem with your theory is that Paul said the Old Covenant, which was ratified by the blood of sacrifices, continued to be in effect until it had "waxed old and was ready to vanish away" and ceased to be of any did vanish away when Jesus ratified the New Covenant with His own blood.

    Jesus and Commands

You're saying a lot but you're telling me nothing. ARE WE AT LIBERTY TO DISREGARD OR OBLIGATED TO OBEY THE TEN COMMANDMENTS?

    Jesus and Commands

I was in the Navy during Desert Shield and Desert Storm - gone for 7-8 months straight. When I got home, my wife didn't have a tough time figuring out how to spend time with me. She let the dishes go, the laundry go, the car washing, etc. That's what the Sabbath is all about. Spending time with...

Revelation: Technology and the Mark of the Beast

I don't see it teaching anything else. The thousand years are sandwiched between the first and second resurrections in those verses with 6 clearly a reference to 4.

    Jesus and Commands

Jesus healed on the Sabbath - but He didn't saw table legs on it. I was making $10,000/month at Bellsouth in 2006 and lost my job ultimately for refusing to work on Sabbath. Daniel got thrown into the lion's den for refusing to break the First Commandment. The Three Hebrew Worthies were thrown...

    Jesus and Commands

I was obviously referring to the "Old Covenant" and "New Covenant". God never made the "Old Covenant" or the "New Covenant" with anyone but the house of Israel and the house of Judah. Therefore, if we are going to be a partaker of the New Covenant, we have to become a "spiritual Israelite"...

Revelation: Technology and the Mark of the Beast

Everyone knows the Bible dates the First Resurrection at the Second Coming. What point is there a Mark of the Beast after that?

    Jesus and Commands

"Barnabas" is not part of the inspired Canon. But, I see you regard it, so we'll have to agree to disagree.

    Jesus and Commands

"The devils believe and tremble". Believing is nothing unless you back it up with action. If you believe you rest in Jesus, then you'll demonstrate that by keeping the Sabbath.

    Jesus and Commands

The Ten Commandments existed before the Old Covenant. Cain knew killing was wrong, Abraham knew that lying to Pharaoh and King Abilemech was wrong, Rachel knew lying to Laban was wrong, Joseph knew adultery was wrong...why do you keep falsely concluding that the Ten Commandments were rigidly...

Revelation: Technology and the Mark of the Beast

The only problem with that idea is that the thousand years is bookended with the two resurrections - the resurrection of the just when Jesus comes gloriously and the resurrection of the damned at the end of the millennium, so what point is there of a Mark after Jesus comes?

    Jesus and Commands

The New Covenant is God's commandments written on the heart. Can you not see what a colossal contradiction it is to say we are still bound to keep nine of the Ten Commandments, but we are free to forget the only one that begins with the word "Remember"? Especially when God says that for all...

    Jesus and Commands

God never made a Covenant with anyone but "the house of Israel and the house of Judah". Are you a partaker of the New Covenant? Then you're a Spiritual Israelite to whom God has written His Laws on your heart, and the Sabbath commandment written on your heart is a sign between you and God that...

    Jesus and Commands

The Sabbath is not always called such in Scripture. The Lord calls it "My holy day". Imagine you announce "that's my suitcase", but as you reach for it, another passenger grabs it and says, "Sorry buddy, but there's no tag on here that says "Enoch111's suitcase" so buzz off. Would you accept...

    Jesus and Commands

I grew up a Sunday keeping Baptist. I know all about Sunday. But God's end time church "keeps the commandments of God", so I had to give up my Baptist affiliation.

    Jesus and Commands

I see you wrote that the Sabbath was a sign of the OC. How so? The Sabbath is a memorial to Creation - says so right there in the commandment itself. The Bible differentiates between the Ten Commandments which existed before Sinai and will "stand fast forever and ever" (Psalm 111:7-8), and the...

WHERE ARE ALL THE PROTESTANT PEDOPHILES?

Dead Bread, here what the papal Antichrist in Rome says about this issue: “All names which in the Scriptures are applied to Christ, by virtue of which is established that He is over the church, all the same names are applied to the Pope.” - On the authority of the Councils, book 2, chapter 17...
