“For many are called, but few are chosen.”

Yes sir, I couldn't have said it any better. But still although being "boss" as you say, He leaves it up to the individual to choose to have Him as their boss. He forces no one to serve Him. But He blesses those who choose to.

    Is smoking a sin?

Truth can be found in the KJV sir, just a bit more difficult. From your post I can see that you teach differently than me. It is feasible that both of us can be wrong, but one thing is for certain we both cannot be right in our understanding, so how much to you think the version of choice...

    Is smoking a sin?

I hope you are correct sir, I am of course not the judge. One thing is for certain, not one righteous person will be overlooked.

    Demons and John 3:18?

    COVENANTS

Appoint is better understood as covenant maam, if you research the word you will see why an agreement or covenant was offered to them. With the outpouring of the holy spirit, that agreement or appointment went into force. They became the Israel of God, under that appointing. hope that helps.

    Is smoking a sin?

I see your point DP, it is the version of the Bible you are using that is restricting you from seeing what was actually said. The NWT reads: (Luke 22:28, 29) 28 “However, you are the ones who have stuck with me in my trials; 29 and I make a covenant with you, just as my Father has made a...

    The World Is A Schoolhouse

God's creations are perfect Mike, Adam did not have that. He was given free will, and chose to be his own god. You are very well correct, we have that, as we inherited that from him.

“For many are called, but few are chosen.”

I never thought about it that way Wrangler, I guess ego would definitely play a part at least in some peoples rejection. In my opinion I think people really just don't believe in Him. Who in their right mind would reject living life everlastingly in paradise, with no sickness? I have to believe...

“For many are called, but few are chosen.”

So very true, serving God is open to every single individual on the planet, but as Jesus pointed out, few would accept the invitation. So sad, and illogical.

    Baptism of the Holy Spirit

What a privilege it is to be selected from humanity to be baptized with holy spirit. I truly appreciate those individuals, their sacrifice is great indeed.

    Main "Divider" of christian denominations?

I think baptisms are more of a new testament thing sir, I believe the biggest issue that divides people are who is God.

Job 1:9 Does Job fear God for nothing

Probably the most honest question ever presented Marc. Each of us should think about it. If I knew beyond a reasonable doubt that I will not have everlasting life, will I serve God, or eat and drink for tomorrow we shall die? 1 Cor 15:32 I have thought about it often, and sadly satan is correct...

    COVENANTS

There are many covenants maam as you have pointed out, however, the two main ones that really affected God's nation was the Law covenant, and the covenant of the Christ, as far as a life style. God first had a nation of people with the agreement after the exodus when they agreed to accept His...

    Is smoking a sin?

We teach the Law covenant is fulfilled Rom 10:4, and we live under the new covenant Jesus made on the last day of his life Luke 22:29.

    The World Is A Schoolhouse

We teach that being created in His image encompasses his qualities Mike. We have a measure of justice, wisdom, and power, and we also display His greatest quality; love.

    Is smoking a sin?

A more understandable version of the Bible might help Marks. Paul was indicating that if it would stumble a disciple if he ate meat, then he would not. Likely today, you might understand that although drinking is not a sin, we might abstain in the presence of someone that had a problem with it.

    Demons and John 3:18?

He didn't call him God, as the exclamation point indicates. Have you never claimed my god to something through excitement? Was that your god? NO!. The fact is Thomas actually realized that Jesus had came back to life. Thomas knew very well that Jehovah, the God of Jesus, was God.

    Demons and John 3:18?

Both men worshiped Jehovah Amadeus, both were sinners. Is any of us more perfect than our brothers and sisters? Who knows? But at any rate both Jonah and Jeremiah belonged to God.

    COVENANTS

That is what we are discussing via email at this time. So I will not comment on this here, but if you would like to go ahead and "prove it" Keep it simple please.
