Was the entire world in the Temple and synagogues in the first century?

You guys have gotten way off topic. John 18:20 KJV [20] Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing. ok anyone care to answer what Jesus is referring to when He says world?

I’ve shown you enough scripture to allow you to see that the veil in reference was His flesh. If you wish to state other wise then you should support your ideas with scripture.

So sad that you really believe the the veil in reference is a literal curtain that was standing in a literal building made with hands. I really do hope that one day Christ will manifest Himself to you.

Let me maybe word it this way. What if the veil in question, you know the one that was rent is in reference to His flesh broken for you? He did say destroy this temple and I’ll rear it up again in three days.

You need to really carefully consider what’s actually being stated in this scripture. Hebrews 10:20 KJV [20] By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

We are in the age of grace, an age where many each day are coming to the knowledge of Christ. Dispensationalists and futurists. Only seem to focus only on death and punishment. The way I see it is this is the age where we receive the promises of God.

I personally believe only about 2 % of the New Testament is futuristic prophecy. Pay attention to how many times Paul acknowledge Old Testament prophecy. I He witnessed most of the Old Testament come to pass.

Let their table become a snare before them. If you’ll read and study Gods word with an open heart He’ll show you in the Old Testament alone what the face of the whole earth implies.
