Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

@Lambano Sounds anyway that he sent you guys a photo of his piercing, after the event. Re. granddaughters, it used to be - and still is - that moms and daughters would sometimes go get their ears pierced together; now it's also grandmas and granddaughters that go get tattoos together, right?

"I quite like males with earrings": a low-key, respectful discussion

@Pearl When my cousin had his done, he was still quite young; and in any case many/most of the young men/boys at our church have worn earrings at one time or another. So I guess my 2c would be, if a grandson does have it done, it's no big deal at all and probably makes for a cheerful discussion...

    I'm a non-Christian, where can I post?

I don't think that it's quite honest for ppl who, because they don't like Scriptures helpfully quoted, try to imply that the person quoting them is supposedly against them personally. (This is a stance a lot of secularists seemingly take...)

"I quite like males with earrings": a low-key, respectful discussion

@Pearl Yes. I agree. In any case, if say at Christmas a young man / grandson HAS just gotten a stud put through his ear, it can be just encouraging for him for a kind family member to say to him: 'That's nice...'

The faithful and the saints: Bringing Calvinism and Arminianism together.

@Lambano In either viewpoint, a lot of politics and logic were involved which didn't necessarily clarify Scripture... I do have my own convictions, though...

"I quite like males with earrings": a low-key, respectful discussion

@Lambano I hasten to add that if I had put in the title 'content with' - as in the poll - rather than what I put, it would have been more accurate and suitable, (but I can't change the title now...) ( cc @Pearl ; @Truman )

"I quite like males with earrings": a low-key, respectful discussion

@Pearl Thanks for your vote participation! Quite a trivia thread, really... But anyway these days it's grandsons as well as granddaughters who appreciate earring gifts, it would sometime seem.

    I'm a non-Christian, where can I post?

@Pearl Indeed...sticking prayerfully to Scripture will never go wrong...

"I quite like males with earrings": a low-key, respectful discussion

@Lambano Sounds about right, in her case, as you described. (So was she interested that her son chose the same place to have his ear done, as where she had had hers done?)

    What are you eating?

@Pearl I'm sure there's a lot of truth to what you say about snacking. (I find that on a journey, it's hard not to snack...) You guys have a great time with your family events shortly...
