    Willful Sin is simply premeditated

So anything short of sinless perfection from initial conversion to physical death for Christians means they have willfully sinned based on Hebrews 10:26 (according to you) and do not live righteously, are not righteous, and do not walk as Jesus walked at all? Is that your conclusion? So only...

The Born again : Not workers of iniquity.

1 Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. 19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. 20 Where is the wise? where is the...

    Willful Sin is simply premeditated

In Hebrews 10:26, we find the term "sin willfully" which carries the idea of deliberate intention which is habitual and stems from rejecting Christ deliberately. This is continuous action, a matter of practice. Now we don't walk along our daily life and "accidentally" fall into a pit called sin...

Who did Christ always point to?

Amen! John 1:1 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God....14 - And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Use Not this verse : 1 John 1:9...if you are born again.

I'm not arguing against renewing our mind or who we are in Christ or finding our victory in Christ. I'm just saying, believers have not yet received their glorified bodies.

Use Not this verse : 1 John 1:9...if you are born again.

I understand how God see's His children, those who are born again, yet our sinful flesh has still not been eradicated and we have not yet received our glorified bodies. I'll have to get back with you later. My wife is calling me to leave for church.

Use Not this verse : 1 John 1:9...if you are born again.

Does this mean that believers never sin again at all? (1 John 2:1) I John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. - Is the truth not found in believers? 1 John 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us. -...

Use Not this verse : 1 John 1:9...if you are born again.

I never said that believers confess an inventory of sins over and over again in order to remain cleansed and saved. I John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 1 John 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is...

Use Not this verse : 1 John 1:9...if you are born again.

I understand who we (believers) are positionally in Christ. (1 Corinthians 6:11) There is a difference between saying there is no sin found with those who are born again "as far as the east is from the west" etc.. and saying that we "in of ourselves" are sinless, without fault or defect...

Use Not this verse : 1 John 1:9...if you are born again.

Again, believers are not confessing an inventory of sins in order to remain cleansed, yet upon becoming believers, we confess that we are sinners in need of a Savior and we do not say that we have no sin (present tense - 1 John 1:8) or that we have not sinned. (past tense - 1 John 1:10) This...

Use Not this verse : 1 John 1:9...if you are born again.

1 John 1:9 does not mean that believers "must confess each and every sin that they commit as they commit them" (keep a specific inventory) as an "additional requirement" to "remain cleansed" and "if they forget a sin they are toast!" I don't hear Strong teaching that either.

Are "good" unbelievers dead in the grave like unbelievers and evil people? (John 5:28-29)

The good deeds of the redeemed (those who have done good) are not the basis or means by which they obtained salvation but is the evidence of it. A person's conduct, whether good or evil, reveals the condition of his heart. We must not confuse 'descriptive' passages of scripture with...
