@Wynona The true believer does endure. I don't see 'saved today, lost tomorrow' in Scripture. Romans 8.38-39 and John's First Epistle are very reassuring.

@Wynona Romans 7 shows that the conflict between the flesh and the spirit never ceases. Romans 8 shows the security of the believer.

@Lambano I guess I can see where the military is coming from; if there is contact at close quarters in a military situation, such rings can conceivably cause harm to others or injury to the wearer. Against this can be said that the military evidently expects some women to wear earrings on...

@Lambano How it is remembered may vary from one believer to another, but the great doctrine of the Incarnation is a deeply Scriptural subject (John 1.14; 1 Timothy 3.16, etc.).

The point of the supposed doctrine of apostolic succession is that a certain view of history - i.e., that there was a hierarchy in charge from the beginning - is assumed, even though Scripture and records do not support it.
