    Are Protestants "saved? "

Hi, I don’t think you dislike Catholics per se. I believe you have made it clear you don’t like the doctrines of The Church. The biggest question I have for you is how do you KNOW that YOU have the “biblical truth “ and The Church doesn’t have the truth?

    Are Protestants "saved? "

There are some churches that teach that gay marriage/abortion is supported by scripture. According to your theory as long as the gathering of the people of that church affirm that doctrine then they have fulfilled Matthew 18:17. Your theory suggests that majority rules.

    Are Protestants "saved? "

If the term church means a gathering of people then which gathering of people has the authority to decide who should be treated as a pagan or tax collector? Which church do we take our differences to?

    Are Protestants "saved? "

The doctrines of young/old earth and end times are not doctrines effecting our salvation. A doctrine effecting our salvation is does baptism save us and is it necessary for salvation VS baptism is symbolic and is not necessary for salvation. Only one can be right. Which one is right? Who decides?

    Why do we need priests?

    Was Luther a false teacher?

    Are Protestants "saved? "

If a church teaches that gay marriage and abortion is ok with God are they feeding their members good fruit or bad fruit? Are they leading their members to Christ?

    Are Protestants "saved? "

I agree with you that a denomination does not make a church (The Church). What Church has the authority to fulfill Matthew 18:17?

    Are Protestants "saved? "

Titus 1:9 and 2:1 talk about doctrine. Does it comply with your theory that it is ok for most churches to have the same basic doctrine? Jesus prays in John 17 that we may all be one. If we have different doctrines HOW can we all be one? What is a basic doctrine? My definition is probably...

I do love history. Are you talking about the historical writings of the men of the Early Church ? Or just Christian history in general? Yes....I did read those posts

    Why do we need priests?

Hi Joseph When Jesus said This IS my body/blood he was also teaching a false gospel from Rome? Joseph: Is not the bread YOU eat and the wine YOU drink a participation in the body of Christ? curious Mary

    Why do we need priests?

Hi BOL, At least @Joseph77 recognizes the fact that our Church started 2,000 years ago. I applaud him for knowing his Christian history :) Mary

    Why do we need priests?

Thank you Joseph. If the “Roman Church” has been deceiving people for 2,000 years wouldn’t that make it the oldest surviving Church in Christian history? If Jesus forbid drinking blood and eating flesh then why did he offer his flesh and blood to the Apostles at the Last Supper? Why would he...

    Are Protestants "saved? "

Hola EG, The foundation was started with Him or as you say “built on Him”. The Apostles then completed that foundation. That was 2,000 years ago. Has nothing been built upon that foundation since then? Curious Mary

    Are Protestants "saved? "

Thank you EG.....What other denominations are claiming to be “The Church”? You said that only one of the teachings is right. Which one of the 3 you listed is the right teaching? If my Church is NOT the only one who is right then which other church is right? Curious Mary

    Are Protestants "saved? "

Hi EG, Ummmm.....In all fairness you did not answer my question. I will re-word the question since it appears my original question might be a bit confusing: Can any denomination that was started after the Reformation be taken out of consideration as being part of the foundation of The...

    Are Protestants "saved? "

Thank you Enoch. Is it your belief that Matthew 18:17 was only in effect until the last Apostle died? Where does scripture say after the death of the last Apostle the Elders of The Church no longer have authority? The Apostles did not leave us with a list of letters that were to be included...

Thank you brakelite! Since you don’t want to talk about theology.....what would you like to talk about? Respectfully, Mary

    Why do we need priests?

Hi, Before The Last Supper, in what is commonly called the bread of life discourse (John 6), He said I am the bread from heaven. Not like the bread Moses gave you. Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died. I am the living bread which came down from heaven; if any one eats...

    Are Protestants "saved? "

Timothy is a pastoral letter from Paul to Timothy. IN CONTEXT the passage is telling him that he hopes to be back shortly (VS14) Paul says since I am being delayed I am writing you (because I can't be there to TELL you) so that you may know how you should behave in the house of God. Paul is...

    Are Protestants "saved? "

Hi EG, This is the 3rd post of mine you have responded to that you have played dodge ball. You are good at it...;) It's a simple question: Do you not believe that Jesus gave them (the Apostles) that (authority to make binding decisions on all Christians) authority?
