It makes for preaching at. One only needs to ask the question 'how do I like being preached at?'...or, 'how attractive...

The title of my thread is being sarcastic Karl. Why? ....because we make a ton of words which ultimately amount to very little....even nothing......and in so doing it is revealed what is important to us.....namely, hot air.

If you want to know about doing to get to heaven which the rich young ruler did, Jesus told him. You know his answer! .....but it's a wrong/poor question. It assumes the starting point is you......and anything that starts with you will inevitably come up with a flawed theology.

insisting our own ideas of what's going on is water tight ensures our ears don't hear.......and what can God do?.....he looks at us with pity as we dig our holes of ignorance. When we don't ask, we don't get. When we insist on telling we will not hear when we are told.
