    "willfully sin". : Hebrews 10

"Work out" your salvation and NOT work for.. Big difference. This pertains to the 2nd tense of salvation - "ongoing or progressive sanctification." Verse 13 - for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

    "willfully sin". : Hebrews 10

I have found that ALL false religions and cults that teach salvation by works strongly oppose OSAS, which has always been a major red flag for me.

    "willfully sin". : Hebrews 10

Yes, these Hebrews who fall short of obtaining salvation certainly may have become partakers of the Holy Spirit in his pre-salvation ministry, convicting of sin and righteousness and judgment to come by tasting the good word of God and the powers of the age to come by temporarily responding to...

    "willfully sin". : Hebrews 10

You learned nothing except the art of eisegesis. You are a self promoter and an agitator who loves to stir up contention.

    "willfully sin". : Hebrews 10

Your childish wise cracks further expose your true colors. You are not fooling me or any other of my brothers and sisters in Christ on the Christianity Board.

    "willfully sin". : Hebrews 10

To "sin willfully" in Hebrews 10:26 does not mean if we ever commit a sin at all and is not promoting sinless perfection. Now we don't walk along our daily life and "accidentally" fall into a pit called sin. We exercise our will but, the use of the participle clearly shows willful, continuous...

    "willfully sin". : Hebrews 10

Amen! Those who believe they live a sinless, without fault or defect, flawless, absolute perfect like 100% of the time (exactly as Jesus Christ lived) are suffering from a terminal case of self righteousness. (1 John 1:8-10)

Is Jesus God Himself or God the Son?

One God in essence/nature yet 3 distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I believe it, but don't claim to fully comprehend it.

    Do you have God's Righteousness?

Amen! Philippians 3:9 - and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith.

    Is FAITH ALONE Enough?

Christ saves us through FAITH based on the merits of His finished work of redemption alone and not based on the merits of our works. (Romans 4:5-6; Ephesians 2:8,9) Christ's finished work of redemption is sufficient and complete to save believers. (Romans 3:24-28) No supplements needed. So yes...

    Do you have God's Righteousness?

Romans 4:5 - But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness, 6 just as David also describes the blessedness of the man to whom God imputes righteousness apart from works. Philippians 3:9 - and be found in Him, not having my...

Good grief! Why such a long post? 1 John 1:8-10 says it all, regardless of what others claim.
