    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

Nothing can replace a full course on the Mosaic Law but lets address this one topic. Take each of the short summaries in chapter 20 and find the full Law in the Torah. When you do that you will see the actual Mosaic Law is more detailed.....So you should be able to see that these are summaries...

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

But they are not the same list that is in chapter 34 that God called the Ten commandments of the covenant and told Moses to write on the Tablets. And most importantly are part of the Mosaic Laws. What you have is a clear contradiction not an establishment of the Ten Commandments. Have fun with...

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

I keep trying to point out that people should consider what the ten moral statements in Chapter 20 are for. Why did God start out with those moral statements. They are more or less summaries of some of the actual Mosaic Laws. And they have a significance that is important. They are just not the...

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

Ignatius, a second century Christian Bishop cautioning against Judaizing in his Epistle of Ignatius to the Magnesians contrasts the Jewish Shabbat practices with the Christian life which includes the Lord's Day: Let us therefore no longer keep the Sabbath after the Jewish manner, and rejoice in...

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

I guess you do not know.....I tried to explain it simply now you can go to your Bible and find where the Sabbath in Exodus was a day of worship and animal sacrifices. And when we get to Christ time we can look up all the rules and restrictions that the Pharisees put on the Sabbath to make it...

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

I am just saying that observation of the Sabbath changed as time went on....some of it made sense and some of it did not. In Exodus it was simple and made sense.....the Sabbath was made for man in observance of the day that God rested....for people to rest from their labors...a day of...

So what happened with Enoch and Elijah? That is your bible too right?

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

They were not observing the Sabbath in Christ era, the way that the Torah described it.

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

LOL More than one way to get to heaven...Enoch and Elijah and the thief on the cross...no repentance, no baptism, no bread and wine ritual. And it you guys that have the alternative Ten Commandments....I have the set that God called the Ten Commandment, The Ten Commandment that set the...

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

That I agree with. One thing we can be confident in....the thief on the cross, did not go to hell. Wonder is a good thing. The Jews were not that big into the spiritual and neither were the Romans. So I wonder if that is the reason that the Bible does not get into the details of Heaven and how...

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

Some believe that when you die you are not conscience until resurrected for Judgement Day. Some believe that you go to heaven or hell right away. I believe that depending on the circumstances either is possible. But....I do not have a lot of scriptures to back that up.

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

I am saying the Bible does not say where the paradise was that Christ was referring to that day. He could have said, You will be with me in heaven or be with Me and the Father.

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

No kidding. Actually neither you are I are going to prove where paradise is or was. Again no scripture that suggests that Christ went to heaven from the cross. Testimony while crucified on a cross.....I am calling that good works!

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

Did Christ say he was saved? There is more than one way to get to heaven. God the Father and God the Son have the right and power to make special exceptions....

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

Find this in Exodus......already established that Moses had gotten it wrong in Deuteronomy. I have already showed you word for word from God's own mouth....What the Ten Commandments are. Not my problem. First you have to find the scripture in Exodus that specifically details them by the name...

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

A religion of non consistency. Thief on the cross was a unique situation. And we still do not know where he went because there is nothing in the scriptures that Christ went to heaven straight away from the cross. And Enoch and Elijah were also taken to....and they did not meet Christ. Now if...

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

Granny that cusses because of bacon splatter or grandpa that molests children and eats them...are they the same work in progress? Work out your salvation with fear and trembling because just because you believe in Christ does not mean you will make it past Judgment Day.

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

I am going to assume that your statement, No one is good, no not one. Is better phrased as No one is perfect... Because if you hang with people that are "no good" that would be pretty sad. I know a lot of good Christians and it is a blessing to me. Paul called us saints. The primary Hebrew...
