Hey, disbelief in Jesus as the Son of God has been being practiced for a few thousand years...The arguments are tiring to listen to. It comes down to what you have experienced of God. When one reads the text AFTER meeting the Lord....nothing seems impossible.

What you are doing is just reading your bias into the text. It's a common mistake. You're saying..."there's no way YHVH is Elyon"...no matter what the text is actually saying.

So then you can afford to NOT go to God? What kind of doctrine seeks to avoid an actual contact with God? I always wonder at the obvious error that is perpetuated in all errant doctrine. Why limit God?

Yes....but imitation is is very limited. Monkeys also imitate...but they don't have a human life. We have a divine life locked up within us that comes alive in His presence. So we need to do a lot more than imitate. We need to actually enter into His life.

It does....it depends how we come at the bible....with a pre-conceived master plan....or as a child.

Unless God comes to live in this dimension by fusing both dimensions into ONENESS. God can do seemingly difficult things, you know.

We can follow an example in righteousness. But in holiness one needs to actually walk with Jesus. He is alive. Why wouldn't we go to Him as if He wasn't available?

Jesus was speaking specifically to THEM. We need to go to God ourselves to get His instructions....and the power to do those instructions. We don't follow a bible.....we are to follow the living God.
