The Lord's table is based on Passover...with the focus on the 3rd cup....the cup of redemption. The 4th cup is the cup of taking and bringing to the land. This is not part of the Lord's table,... curiously indeed.

We can't receive honour from men AND God. We have to choose one or the other. The answer to this is to embrace obscurity...and let God do as He wills. We are to embrace powerlessness and a lack of position...all the things that men crave and respect so much. But God's ways are different.
