    Predestined for Glorification

You can't discern the holy from the carnal. There is no power in the positional ideology. The "I get all the glory and Jesus gets stuck with all the mess" approach to the servant-hood of God.
  2. Episkopos

    Predestined for Glorification

It is ingenious because men invented it. The blood of Christ does not cover up unrighteousness. 1Pe 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

    Priesthood

Agreed! It is modeled on the clergy system from Roman times. The Pontiffs made sacrifices and were "bridges (mediators) for the common folk. Then there was the Pontifex maximus...the pope...the head of all the pontiffs. All this was in place for hundreds of years BEFORE Jesus came to earth.

    The Positional Platform

...as a side issue! We will all be judged by what we did, what we said, and what we thought. The light exposes everything. The grace of God empowers us to live in such a way as the closer scrutiny brings MORE glory to God. Joh_3:21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds...

    We are WORKINGOUT our salvation

Amen! We NEED to fear the Lord. It does happen in the Lord. God's judgments are perfect. God impartially judges all men. God also WANTS us to succeed and equips us to that purpose. So then yes, the love of God has fear in it.

The most "evident" truth of scripture

In other words what works of the law could not accomplish in the doing of the law...faith does! With God all things are possible.

    Two resurrections who they are

Yes! They are a part of the saints. The saints are in the first resurrection. The second resurrection is for the world at large both righteous and wicked. Those not written in the book of life in the second rez are killed in fire. The first resurrection is actually for Israel, the people of God...

    We are WORKINGOUT our salvation

Php_2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Paul is saying this because he wants none to be lost through becoming lax, or being drawn away from the new life through...

The most "evident" truth of scripture

Do you think the Holy Spirit makes us irresponsible? This is not about trying to justify oneself...it is about walking by faith. So as we walk by faith we fulfill the law. Rom_3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law. Faith keeps the law. We...

The most "evident" truth of scripture

Rom 2:13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

3 Steps to Remove the Stink of Negativity From Your Life

If Christians could just rejoice in all things as we are commanded to...then all the negativity, relativism, cynicism, obscurantism, judgmentalism and every other ism would simply vanish! Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice! :)

“Fight The Good Fight . . . Of Faith”

But there is a definite divergence between those who read Jesus through Paul and those who read Paul through Jesus.
  15. Episkopos

“Fight The Good Fight . . . Of Faith”

What I'm drawing attention to is the fact that God said to listen to His Son. So we have to read doctrine through the words of Christ and not what we think Paul is saying.
  16. Episkopos

“Fight The Good Fight . . . Of Faith”

Paul's message sure sounds a whole lot easier than those other bible writers. Easy enough to make a popular doctrine with.
  17. Episkopos

“Fight The Good Fight . . . Of Faith”

This is rather convenient in that we are supposed to follow Christ not Paul. Jesus covered all of what Paul talks about. Paul clarifies issues that have come up...as does Peter, John, James and Jude. But Peter also says of Paul... 2Pe 3:15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is...
  18. Episkopos

“Fight The Good Fight . . . Of Faith”

Here is the direct attack on the truth! He's brazen he is! I'll say!! There's no way twist the words of Jesus like you can those of Paul... Rom_3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law. 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him...

Amen Ruth...we are a work in progress!!! :)

Have you ever been outside of time?

Ironically it is far better to not have a name. Let God name you!!! :)
