  1. Waiting on him

Does the Holy Spirit prevent wicked from being revealed¿

I read it, it seems to follow that same line of group think. I'm very interested in seeing what 101 has to say. He seems to have a focus on the temple being the key too answering who he is, but I'll say again these men in Thessalonica should have known they were the temple of God if converted
  2. Waiting on him

Does the Holy Spirit prevent wicked from being revealed¿

Paul fully knew that we are the temple and I assume the recipients of this letter knew they were the temple. See I don't believe a third future temple has any significance. I believe this is more conjecture.
  3. Waiting on him

Does the Holy Spirit prevent wicked from being revealed¿

Well Paul being the man who pinned this letter, fully understood that we are the temple?
  4. Waiting on him

Does the Holy Spirit prevent wicked from being revealed¿

I'm going to tag @Heart2Soul and @VictoryinJesus we'll see what their thoughts are. Also it seems I've been labled as preterist whatever that means, my ? Is should this thought process you've posted fall under a preterist ideal?

John 16:8-11 KJV And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: [9] Of sin, because they believe not on me; [10] Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; [11] Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. Ok...

Does the Holy Spirit prevent wicked from being revealed¿

John 16:32-33 KJV Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me. [33] These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have...

    Miracles and certain spiritual gifts

My understanding is for the Jew in that period upon being truly converted, they experienced maturity, miraculously received maturity.. they did not undergo sanctification as the gentile would.
  10. Waiting on him

    Miracles and certain spiritual gifts

ok, Paul strongly exhorts the Jews in Hebrews 6 too move to perfection. Why would he encourage them to do something if it's impossible?
  11. Waiting on him

Does the Holy Spirit prevent wicked from being revealed¿

Well, absolutely we will see tribulation, but for me to underestimate the clarity that Jesus was speaking too the men standing in front of Him in Matthew, would be in my opinion to as good as say what he prophetically spoke to them didn't happen, and I'm not willing to take that route at this time.
  12. Waiting on him

The Mark of the Beast (what it really is explained)

But for the moment we have another explainer!
  13. Waiting on him

  15. Waiting on him

The Mark of the Beast (what it really is explained)

Then everyone would have to abandon their speculation of a coming GREAT TRIBULATION.
  16. Waiting on him

    Miracles and certain spiritual gifts

Typically the way it is when self edification is the goal.

And just when you thought you had knowledge of something.

Does the Holy Spirit prevent wicked from being revealed¿

1 Corinthians 14:24-25 KJV But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all: [25] And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of...

Does the Holy Spirit prevent wicked from being revealed¿

So He works in the hearts of those who believe and are converted. So where does the idea come from that He the Holy Spirit prevents the converted from seeing wicked or the world from performing evil?
