Hey BG, You may have said this before and I forgot but I believe you have said you DO NOT attend a church service? You are unaffiliated? Respectfully, Mary

I agree. Tradition does not equal Truth. However, the NT Christians were told to hold fast to the traditions they were taught by letter or word of mouth. Are you suggesting they were taught some false traditions? Please help me understand your thought process here..... Mary

Soooo you don't want to get into a debate you just want to spew out divisive, hurtful words and make false allegations....but you don't want to debate any of it? We should just read your words and smile??? Okay, I'm smiling....:):):):):):):):) Now we are all happy. You don't have to defend your...

Well, there are no instructions in the bible on how to perform a Christian wedding ceremony....but we Christians still perform "Christian" weddings. ;) As a matter of fact there is no table of contents for the bible you read....how do you know you have all the right books? Curious Mary

Sounds like you are an open minded person! Do you believe everything you have taught yourself? Or to be asked a different way: What you have taught yourself to be true, you believe to be true. Correct? What is the biggest statement in the Apostles Creed that you disagree with? It seems pretty...

Hi, The Koran, Mormon and JW ones are easy to figure out :) What "Catholic"books would you be talking about? Curious Mary

I have found a swift kick in the butt is needed sometimes. As you may know, if you have kids ;) How do you believe we, as a Christian community, can discern who is right and who is wrong? We all read from the same book but come up with different answers. For instance a majority of Christians...

Thank you. I think I understand what you are saying. You think a person should put aside their pride of being a Catholic or Baptist or Lutheran etc. etc.? Well, once again, it seems they did do that in their letter since the letter has general wording that all of Christianity can generally...

Thank you. I like general terms :) I believe scripture says we are to "defend" the Truth/the Church. Wouldn't you agree that 1 Peter 3:15, Titus 1:9, 2 Timothy 4:2, Philippians 1:16 or Ephesians 5:11 say that we should defend against false information OR at least be ready to give a defense...

That is very humble of you. To "swallow pride"means one would have to ignore their ego...which it seems they did. I am not sure what YOU mean by Swallow their pride? Mary

Interesting that you would call these men deluded when they want to UNITE and be one voice and fulfill the prayer of Jesus in John 17:20-23 and the aforementioned passage from Corinthians. I think a person that calls men that are attempting to fulfill scripture and Jesus prayer "deluded" is...

Has anyone here ever read this document?

It is difficult to determine their intent so I agree with you...I don't know either, however, it seems more logical that a bunch of pastors, bishops, religious leaders etc. WOULD want to fulfill scripture. In your opinion, what is the best way to rectify this mess and do away with our...

Thank you. According to your theory we as Christians are to throw out tradition? Your theory is opposite of scripture: 2 Thessalonians 2:15. Furthermore your tradition (opinion) began 500 years ago. Why is it ok for you to hold onto a 500 year tradition but tell me to not hold to my 2,000 year...

Thank you Nancy. Your "guess" is partially true. God HAS promised forgiveness wherever there is repentance. He also promised forgiveness in Matthew 6:14 further saying if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. BOTH can be true. To pretend...

Hi Jane, I am sorry that has happened to you. It sounds as if you wouldn't mind if someone came to your defense, just not use the words that @BreadOfLife uses? If I came to your defense, HOW would you want me to do that? (using this format/online) Can you show me ONE post where BOL has carried...

Hi Enock, The statement you responded to from @Soverign Grace said: I think there are some genuine Christians among Catholics. @Soverign Grace was specifically talking about CATHOLICS and you responded by saying they are commanded to "come out" of that system, not remain there and aid and abet...
