I see it the other way around. The bible indeed gets us searching. But we don't know what we are really searching for. God shows us the completed picture through a revelation ....then we are left to take the steps in that direction...through His direction.

The law is in effect...not the ceremonial parts which are fulfilled in Christ...for the sake of righteousness. Those who are actually in Christ are fulfilling the law through the Spirit. Those who are not in Christ will be judged by the law.

Job was afflicted in his body not his mind. Teach anything? How about teach everything! A person with a mental illness is not qualified to teach everything.

Anyone who uses a human reasoning to teach the word will be a hypocrite. We are to have the mind of Christ.

It is dudette not dude! When we abide in Christ we marvel at the instruction of God. Not the law. The Hebrew word is Torah...which means instruction. God's training is hard but those who submit to it love the discipline and truth that God brings. That is the context of David's exclamation...

What I'm saying is that a person who suffers from an illness that can cloud judgment should refrain from trying to teach anyone until God gives that person soundness of mind. We are not to be many teachers as these will receive the harder judgment.

Jesus said divorce for adultery was ok for the man...not the woman. You will not find that remarriage pertaining to women is condoned at all.

Those who seek to fulfill the law themselves are not in Christ. Or else they have fallen from His grace.

What does this have to do with water-skiing? A disciple of Christ is given a sound mind while yet in this present life. It is pointless to speak to one with an unstable mind. First connect to Christ...and He will heal your lack. THEN, see to helping others. Otherwise you are being a hypocrite.

We need to realize where we are living from. That is the whole purpose of the law. By seeking to obey the law carnally one becomes worse than the sinners.
