The myth of grace-only & easy-believism shattered forever

Haven't you read what Paul said about the Law? The Law is there to make us conscious of our sinfulness before God. He says that it is a tutor to lead us to Christ. If we don't know that we are condemned sinners according to the Law, how can we know what Christ is saving us from? If the...

Virgin Mary Had Other Children After Jesus

They don't, because the .4% poison in the food is undetectable, and the rats see the food as love eating it, not knowing that they are being poisoned. Deceived people don't know they are being deceived. No good hunter lays the traps out so the animal can see them!

Virgin Mary Had Other Children After Jesus

I am not trying to convince anyone of anything. I'm just stating what I believe is true. If what I am saying is really true, then the blood of others is not on my hands of the judgment because I have followed the Holy Spirit's instructions to me through Ezekiel the Prophet when He said, "Tell...

The myth of grace-only & easy-believism shattered forever

Up until the 1960s the majority of people in our society had a Judeo-Christian world view, even though they never went to church themselves, therefore preaching and sharing the gospel from the Bible had much greater results than it does today. In the late 1950s, when Billy Graham went to...

Virgin Mary Had Other Children After Jesus

What I was doing was giving rat poison as an example to show that a religious movement can be 99.6% sound, but .4% unsound. It can be the .4% that is poison to a Christian believer. So I am not saying that the whole of Catholicism (or Mormonism for that matter) is rat poison, but a very small...

The myth of grace-only & easy-believism shattered forever

A big long response to a simple answer to a simple question! The simple answer that Adam's disobedience brought the curse upon the world and mankind. The reason why Jesus died on the cross was to bear God's wrath and the curse, and to take upon Himself the penalty for our sinfulness, which was...

    Are Protestants "saved? "

So, both Catholics and Protestants are sinners and all need Christ, including you and me. None of us are righteous and outside of Christ we would be condemned at the judgment.

entire sanctification is an obtainable goal.

So, tell me of one person who has been able to achieve that to absolute perfection.

When Tempted, Giving over to [Willful] Sin equates to Eternal Death, not Eternal Life.

Every person has a conscience. This is a God-given alarm bell that activates when we do something against it. If I look at a woman in a short skirt on a windy day with lust, my conscience will tell me, "That is not right! You are committing adultery in your heart!" If I am to obey my...

entire sanctification is an obtainable goal.

What does entire sanctification mean to you?

Maybe they went about sharing the gospel in the wrong way and got the appropriate response.

entire sanctification is an obtainable goal.

No. I asked to name one person. I don't need to consult the Bible for the answer. I just need for someone to name just one person right now who has achieved entire sanctification. Achieving it "by faith" is not an acceptable answer for me.

When Tempted, Giving over to [Willful] Sin equates to Eternal Death, not Eternal Life.

The answer could very well be, "I don't believe in any gods"; then you'd be scuppered, or else be sucked into the bottomless vortex of a fruitless debate, as we see so much on this forum! :-)

    Are Protestants "saved? "

According to the Catholic church, because I believe in justification by faith alone in Christ, apart from works, I am a heretic and if I held that view in the Middle Ages, I would have been burned at the stake. So that ain't no brotherly fellowship in my books!

All of them. You're getting warmer!! :-)

Virgin Mary Had Other Children After Jesus

Okay. At least you are not clairvoyant, because you don't know whether I read it or not. I know that Mary being a perpetual virgin, had no other children, and magically transported to heaven to be the Queen of Heaven are not in the Bible that I read. Perhaps you are reading a different...

entire sanctification is an obtainable goal.

I don't really want to be difficult, but... :D Can you identify at least one person, other than Christ Himself who has achieved entire sanctification (not just in faith, but in reality) in this life? Name one.

The myth of grace-only & easy-believism shattered forever

Well, the curse had to come from somewhere. It had to originate at some point in man's history. There was a time when there was no curse on mankind, and then there was. So where did that curse come from and why? (I actually know, but I am interested in your answer).

Virgin Mary Had Other Children After Jesus

Your accusative manner at me destroys your case and I see no reason to defend myself. You don't know me from a bar of soap and unless you are clairvoyant you cannot know my attitude toward God and Christ. And if you are clairvoyant, then you are in the deep brown proverbial!
