I guess the point is also that having one big organization on earth wouldn't be Scriptural in any case, if each company of believers, searching the Sriptures, looks to the risen Lord as their head (Ephesians 1).

@marks Well, okay! :) although extreme examples really don't "prove" a lot about benign, Bible verse tattoos that so many Christians get in order to use evangelistically...

Hi @LovingSoul Good to see you; Acts 2.42 speaks about the very wholesome activities of the early believers as they served the crucified and risen Christ. John's First Epistle has much about assurance. Philippians is sometimes known as the Epistle of Joy. God bless you and your family.

Hi @Nancy You are right that one's true spiritual life revolves around prayer and Scripturally based worship (not on judging by externals such as smoking/vaping, glasses of wine, etc.). Prayer and the Scriptures are indeed central, and are some of the things in which the early believers in Acts...
