The law??? Where does your confusion come from? The commandments Of Jesus are binding on all who follow Him. The Apostles are among the first Christians. Other Christians followed....from all nations.

Grace is extended to all nations through faith and commitment to Christ. The Jews are not a subset of humanity but they are fellow men. In Christ there are no longer any differences between men of any type. This simple truth seems beyond the capability of some to grasp.

But the order is reversed....Christ is on a par with Melchizedek...not the other way around. Jesus goes beyond Moses....but is granted the priesthood of Melchizedek. So Christ is a type of Melchizedek.

The order of Melchizedek is according to the righteousness of God. The name itself means..."my king of righteousness". So this speaks of Christ. Does it also apply to those who have Christ ruling in their hearts and minds?

Very good! The elect are to rule over the saved ones from the nations. Election is unto glory. Obedience is unto salvation.
