Christians mistreating other Christians over doctrinal differences

Do either of us look like Jesus, yet [1 John 3:2]? Does that mean that you are not correct, for where you are expected to be (in the sanctification process)? Health standards for children differ at different ages, too. (Does that mean either is wrong, if they disagree?) And they differ from...

Andy's work was too abstract & mundane for me. I'm more of an illustrator who favors realism (style, not subject). I am inspired by Boris Vallejo, before he went dark.

We can both be right for/faithful to the amount of revelation that we have thus far. God building His Church anticipates a progressive Reformation. (Progressive in a good way. ;)) And it anticipates upheaval. "And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some...

I do not doubt (for a second) your faithfulness before God. And I see no good reason to be antagonistic toward you, but this dialogue clearly demonstrates the kind of disparity that we can expect to see until the Thearchy. (It also demonstrates why I consider theocracies and ecumenism to be bad...

Should the books of the bible been more like 77?

Martin Luther was a mixed blessing. He joined the Catholics in persecuting the Anabaptists.

Should the books of the bible been more like 77?

The fledgling Church had no New Testament, at all, when She started. ;)

That is central to Christianity. Without it, you have something other than Christianity.

Should the books of the bible been more like 77?

When did he write that? All that I can recall was 2 Timothy 3:16 which says the opposite. "Inspired of God" < "God-breathed"

There are those who would use your version of being filled with the Holy Spirit to denounce my experience and, in turn, require me to renounce it. I'm okay with "live and let live."

Besides "Tongues" being a recurrent manifestation of the BoHS, it is a prayer language, too. Other Gifts, like those mentioned in 1 Corinthians 12:4-11, take Body ministry to the next level. For me, there was an increased sense of what the Holy Spirit wanted from me, instead of just a cold...

Christians mistreating other Christians over doctrinal differences

"For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known." 1 Corinthians 13:12 NKJV There are two versions of "doctrine," God's Word in its entirety, & That part which we have already somewhat digested. On this side of...

I mean to the inclusion of manifesting the charismata. It is not in anyone's best interest that I should renounce the charismata in an effort to keep my detractors happy. I will just have to live with their displeasure. "And it happened, while Apollos was at Corinth, that Paul, having passed...

Sometimes, it's developmental differences. I still appreciate the Baptist church that led me to Jesus. They are none too happy with me getting the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, though. (They will eventually get it, too, when God pours out His Spirit on all flesh... ;))

    Tim Tebow Suspension...

Philippians 4:13 is popular with sports set. I just saw somebody taking a hit of Isaiah 40:30-31 the other day. Football players like Isaiah 59:19, "When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him." (Tell 'em that Louie, da Encourager, sent ya... )
