I find that to be a little idealistic for a "working" tattoo parlor.

When my wife and I were at our closest, we periodically crushed on other people. We did not pursue them, though. It almost seemed like a reflex. Having both experienced it, we cut each other some slack in that regard.

I don't really have a spiritual problem with tattoos as an art form (or other arts, for that matter*) just the compromise that artists might have to accept in order to stay working. Benign content isn't a problem. Dark content is. (Some of my favorite CCM musicians have recorded jingles to hawk...

I was thinking more along the lines of 1 Corinthians 10:23, "All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful; all things are lawful for me, but not all things edify."

They would only be answerable to their own conscience, which the Holy Spirit would tweak as time goes on (if they are walking in Him), but I expect that to be convergent on Jesus, per 1 John 3:2.

This thread assumes that Christian demand will be benign, but the title asks of Christian artists, providing the services. Can a Christian run an Ezekiel-only parlor and stay in business? My guess is no.
