    Who is teaching a literal "faith alone" doctrine I keep hearing it attacked. But I know no one who actually teaches it (at lease as you present it)

    But as many as have recieved him, to them he gave the right to become children of God this is what saves a person entirely forever The works are a byproduct of being saved, Not done in order to be saved.

    The law still requires you to be perfect. Only by being under the law will sin unqualify you for eternal life. Grave takes us out of there there is no other state, we are under law (guilty) or we are under grace (guilty but forgiven)
