    Why water into wine?

The only thing that is mind bending is your twisting of scripture, facts and truth. My prayers are with you....Mary

    Why water into wine?

Dear sir, You answered my question. You are ignorant of scripture. It does NOT say that the wolves will assume control of Christianity. It says that "men will rise up and distort the truth to draw away disciples after them". My prayers are with you....Mary

    Why water into wine?

You make absolutely ZERO sense. The scripture you quoted has NOTHING to do with the subject at hand. Mary

    Why water into wine?

I would have to suspend the belief that TRUTH is an absolute thing? If truth is not an absolute thing then what is absolute for YOU? FACTS have much of anything to do with absolute truth? What a bizarre statement. Paul said that wolves would assume control of Christianity as soon as he left...

I don't understand what you just wrote. I apologize. Mary

    Why water into wine?

bbyrd, Thank you for your OPINION. Scripture and and Christian History on this matter is not based on opinion. Scripture and Christian History are Truth and fact. Which is something you lack on this subject. Mary

    Why water into wine?

Very good point BOL. Might I add that those disciples who couldn't handle what Jesus was saying walked away from Him (John 6:66). The only time recorded in scripture that disciples walked away from Jesus. I wonder what happened to those disciples that didn't believe what Jesus said and turned...

    What if you are wrong?

Your very welcome. I appreciate your kind response and love this topic you have chosen. I guess all of us have to accept some kind of authority. Some accept themselves as their own authority, others accept an established church. God bless

    Why water into wine?

There are many of us Protestants who are part of the "cannibal cult" also. For 2,000 years the teaching of the real presence has been practiced. The teaching of communion not being the real presence is a recent TRADITION and a teaching NOT based on scripture. My two cents worth

    What if you are wrong?

Hi tabletalk, I don't ever recall defending The Immaculate Conception doctrine. However, it makes sense to me and I will give it my best effort to defend it: The doctrine is, in general, that Mary was preserved exempt from all stain of original sin. Sanctifying grace was given to her before...

What do you think about this?

Hi, It does sound like we have a different take on the article. I have read other interviews with JM and IMO he is saying what I stated in post #19. The linked interview is admittedly edited and condensed. We seem to have a slightly different take on the 'church of one' statement also. I think...

What do you think about this?

I do apologize. The "is he gay" question was a sidebar and was based on you saying "....to cut ties with a gay person such as himself...". It is not important to our conversation. I can't find anywhere that he has announced that he is gay. I thought you found information I couldn't find. I...

Goodness ScottA, You are very confusing. In point #1 you say that Christ DID NOT live in the apostles and then you say he DID live in the apostles. Sooooo....I think we are in agreement that he DID live in the apostles. You said earlier that Christ is living in you. The apostles where men...

What do you think about this?

Is he gay? I can't find anything where he said he is. I am still confused on what you are saying. Do you think JM is telling people to cut ties with everyone who sins? A simple yes or no would help end my confusion. Confused Mary

    What if you are wrong?

I would admit to be wrong. The doctrines I defend have been around for almost 2,000 years. Those doctrines have been given to us by the Apostles (Council of Jerselum), the Apostolic Fathers and re-affirmed by the Fathers of The Church. If the doctrines I defend are wrong then Christianity has...

As usual you did not answer my question. If you were willing to engage in a conversation I believe you would come to realize how your statements are void of logic and can not be backed up by scripture. However, you probably realize you have been painted into a corner and if you were to engage...

Did Christ live in the Apostles? I also called Him by name and He confirmed everything with me also, however, what you believe/preach/teach is different then what I believe/preach/teach. Have I been deceived? Are you THE ONE that God is working in for good? Why do you believe yourself but no...

My dear Job, Jesus never gave us a list of books that are in our bible but we still have a bible. So how do you KNOW which books belong in the bible that you read? Curious Mary

I am glad we agree. If a person looks at an image while they are praying they are no less a Christian than you are. We can finally move on. Mary
