    Stranger seems to be showing forth some compassion. To the op though, I never really have felt as if God has let me down. I’ve felt many times as though I’ve let Him down.

    I agree John, I’ve noticed a lot of water baptism scripture in the Gospels, but not so much in the epistles.

    No hypothesis, just trying to get to the bottom, without just accepting everything I’m told of men. Now, the disciples baptized many, themselves even baptized. Why no salvation prior to Pentecost?
