    @Pearl Don't think I've seen that one.... I've actually not seen a lot of movies well known to many ppl...

    @Pearl Great verse there...

    Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

    @Adoration That's a really nice verse! :) I see that @atpollard , above, is skeptical. @atpollard Thank-you, Sir, for your comment; appreciated.

    Instant replay....

    @Adoration Some ppl speak of their 'forgettory', instead of memory... :) (I know the feeling...)

    Vaccinations

    @Deborah_ I think that it's good for ppl to take note of your comments, as you are a doctor.

    The church at a crossroads....

    @Gideons300 Yes, we need the new birth, as described in John 3 and Ephesians 2... :)

    The Hiking Thread!

    @UnrulyBeauty Wonderfully healthy, and a reminder of nearness to the Creator... In winter it can be harder, of course, especially up here...

    Are Jehovah’s Witness Christians?

    @UnrulyBeauty It's the doctrine - biblical or otherwise - that really counts, right?

    Nightmares/Lack of Sleep

    @Pearl I remember you like Strictly Come Dancing and some of those pieces are very vigorous, but it all takes training and time to be able to achieve what the finalists do. Some of the perennial finalists are very well trained and adept and dexterous.

    Vaping problems? / benefits?

    @FluffyYellowDuck Yes, good to remember, indeed. I guess it's in comparison with cigarettes.

    Nightmares/Lack of Sleep

    @Pearl Well, they shouldn't have thrown you in at the deep end, so to speak...

    What are you listening to right now?

    @Pearl It was done in 1975, by Sidney Pollack. It's a bit violent, but the ending is memorable.

    Nightmares/Lack of Sleep

    @Pearl A good fitness trainer will 'work up' a person as well as 'work out'. There are definite stages of progress in fitness...

    What are you listening to right now?

    @Pearl Not seen that one. In Condor, he comes out with some chillingly effective lines about the amoral way that people defending vested interests can think.

    @Freeborn I guess he is a lot older, now, but lots of memories there, I'm sure. My wife and I sometimes look at photo albums together, and it's amazing how ppl change over the years...

    What are you listening to right now?

    @Pearl A similar one is Three Days of the Condor, also with Robert Redford. It's more fictional, although with overtones of reality. I do think the character of Joubert (Max Von Sydow) is chillingly effective.

    Nightmares/Lack of Sleep

    @FluffyYellowDuck I go past a gym when I go walking sometimes and all the ppl working out seem to be facing the same way, absorbed in what they are doing....kind of anonymous in the crowd...

    What are you listening to right now?

    @Pearl I enjoyed 'All the President's Men' as a sort of historical documentary, although one doesn't get the whole picture. (I found the language very bad in places.) Did you know that Bob Woodward was already negotiating film rights even before Nixon resigned? Makes one wonder about the sheer...

    No blood, no forgiveness...

    @Not me Revelation 21.27: "And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life."
