A serious questions for the Jehovah's Witnesses on these threads.

Good question. Bad response. She cannot see her reasoning is faulty. Tripped up by all her 'knowledge, ' methinks. CROSS --> EASTER --> THIEF NOT BEING RESURRECTED Rather than concede anything, just go from subject to subject. My. My.

Most people don’t have to be told to celebrate. It comes naturally as a joyful and enthusiastic way of living. I look for every little excuse to celebrate every moment. It’s preposterous to hold back celebrating THE GREATEST EVENT IN HUMAN HISTORY.

Critical thinking and education is linked to loss of faith

There is no it in the subject, only you. All of us us will die, including you. My question is what did you live for? (What do you stand for?) The Atheists unable to answer this question - beyond process, beyond means toward no ends- reveal how depressingly empty and shallow your lives are. No...

    It's OXYMORON time!

That one always rubbed me the wrong way.

    Words of Satan, Part 2

You'd be more effective in persuading people if you jettisoned your self-righteousness and embraced humility.

    Abortion

Agreed! This is the most repugnant post I've ever seen on CyB. This is how you show your love to totally innocent baby image bearers of God; compare them to weeds that should not be nurtured BUT BE DESTROYED?! You are far from Christ, Stan.

    Words of Satan, Part 2

No. That's not it. I don't think you are sorry to be hijacking the thread one little bit. Your self-righteousness is sickening. This thread is about X. You are writing that Y is better. <sigh> For the record, I am not denying that Y is better. Still this thread is about X. Go start your own...

    Words of Satan, Part 2

Funny you say that because this Sunday's sermon was specifically about NOT comparing. We each have a calling and I am in my lane. You?

Oy vey! Please frequent another thread Karl. You are getting this one all wrong.

    Artificial Intelligence

For my own good AND the greater good. You would be selfish to resist.

A serious questions for the Jehovah's Witnesses on these threads.

Your question brilliantly reveals the ruse of their claim of pagan roots. The truth is, they don’t know how to differentiate between worshipping and celebrating.

    Words of Satan, Part 2

It's not amazing but mundane. Every day I get up I have a choice: the easy way or the right way. We are not tempted to eat right, exercise, and rest. We are tempted to do the opposite BECAUSE the right choice is rarely the easy choice.

    Words of Satan, Part 2

Friend, only a fool dismisses the subtle effectiveness of Satan. His tactics are hard to see when one's judgement is clouded by emotion and not grounded in the Word. I wish you were more compassionate toward those who fall prey to Lucifer's machinations.

    What’s Your Favorite Verse?

We both reject the doctrine of denominatonal-only deliverance. With all due respect, it is a person or persons on CyB that hold that. We cannot rationally disagree with an inanimate object, aka denomination. It's like disagreeing with a frog for being a frog or a rock for being a rock.

    What’s Your Favorite Verse?

BTW, I'm glad you know the Bible well enough to know what I was referring to. Some always insist on quoting chapter and verse. Obviously, that takes more time. Before becoming lead Pastor of my congregation, the man started a missionary work in Cleveland, attempting to start a new congregation...

    What’s Your Favorite Verse?

No. What you pointed out referenced no words by Jesus at all, let alone contradicting his support for denomination.

    What’s Your Favorite Verse?

I don't think the passage reveals that at all but failure & faith. Did the Apostles represent Jesus cause they also failed to eject some demons?
