Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

@Waiting on him I guess no more family inkings recently or in prospect? sometimes they seem to go in cycles, anyway.

Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

@Angelina FYI....did you see/ vote in the poll, above? (sorry if I've asked you before; don't quite remember). What your preference is for yourself now is clear, of course; what do you think for example of the situation of other tattooed Christian women who, unlike yourself, might have a tattoo...

    "In Christ" = Never ends.

@Angelina I do think that in the parable of the sower it is those who are the good ground into which the good seed falls that prove to represent the genuine believers. The others seem to be those without root, etc.

Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

@Waiting on him Seems like your grandfather - and maybe your daughter, too - approached the matter of tattoos in a wholehearted way. (Similarly, the comment to @Gideons300 in the previous post.)

@Pearl Some of the chapters of Song of Solomon - I won't quote them - clearly have a similar message.

Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

@Gideons300 A Christian man or woman, according to conviction, should either abstain with relish from a faith based tattoo or get inked up with relish in a wholesome way with a faith based tattoo. But the idea of becoming knotted up with legalistic worrying about it should be excluded....right? :)

    Mother of James?

@Pearl Indeed. Mary kept things in her heart. But you are right; she would have been a loving wife, too. You mentioned your granddaughter; if married the very idea that she should not be a loving wife because of her past, spiritual privileges and experiences would be very wrong, wouldn't it? I...

The Lord's Supper is not the Mosaic passover. I am without the camp, bearing his reproach. I belong among the carcasses of the dead animals disposed of outside the camp. Hebrews 13. This is where the Lord Jesus is.

PTL. I Love the little Word "ALL" and the little word "all" is not hard to understand

@Pearl At the entrance of the Museum of London, The Barbican, there is or there was a monument to the place where Wesley was converted, where he said he felt his 'heart strangely warmed', when he read Luther's commentary on justification by faith.
