@Angelina I do think that in the parable of the sower it is those who are the good ground into which the good seed falls that prove to represent the genuine believers. The others seem to be those without root, etc.

@Waiting on him Seems like your grandfather - and maybe your daughter, too - approached the matter of tattoos in a wholehearted way. (Similarly, the comment to @Gideons300 in the previous post.)

@Waiting on him I do think a real grasp of Hebrews as an Epistle can alter one'e whole thinking about law-keeping.

@Gideons300 A Christian man or woman, according to conviction, should either abstain with relish from a faith based tattoo or get inked up with relish in a wholesome way with a faith based tattoo. But the idea of becoming knotted up with legalistic worrying about it should be excluded....right? :)

@Pearl Indeed. Mary kept things in her heart. But you are right; she would have been a loving wife, too. You mentioned your granddaughter; if married the very idea that she should not be a loving wife because of her past, spiritual privileges and experiences would be very wrong, wouldn't it? I...
