Which of the ten do you object to mjrh?.....which do you find contrary to your inclinations? Perhaps you have never read Psalm 119 where David praises God's Law.....It appears you cannot talk in the same terms as he does because as you say the Law is death to you. Of course you would run from...

I'm sorry jbf, either you don't understand what those texts speak of or you are taking them out of their context to justify your position.

    Not a sinner.

Do you think that God will accept your statement above as a good reason to dismiss his Commandments? Why do I take issue with this?......because 'love' is interpreted according to how one feels.....and ones feelings can be as fickle as the weather. What is necessary are specifics....things we...

Be it known that all who willingly violate any of the 10 because it suits their disposition are deemed as foolish virgins with no oil.

Further confusion....not being able to differentiate between ceremonial laws, health laws, cultural laws......mixing it all up with the law of the Ten Commandments.......and for what purpose?..... isn't it to excuse obligation to the Ten? .....isn't the objective to mix it all in so as not to be...

Except a man be born of WATER and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

'Water' is about cleansing......getting rid of sin. Yes, any one claiming forgiveness yet nurturing sin is rejecting the Spirits prompting.

Judgment Is Executed on COVID-19: by Kenneth Copeland in Jesus's Name!!

I suppose one could apply the same principle to religious systems.

Judgment Is Executed on COVID-19: by Kenneth Copeland in Jesus's Name!!

Do you really think that is what is being implied GISMYS_7? Be mindful you do not use these inaccurate arguments to attempt to shore up your position. It is evident your focus is on temporal wealth. ‘For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks’...Jesus. (Matthew 12:34).

    Not a sinner.

You are muddling things here justbyfaith. If Jesus kept the Spirit of the Law he surely kept its letter. You confuse what the religious leaders tacked onto Gods Law with God's Law. Jesus's reference to working with his Father is in reference to the salvation of the human race, it is not in...

Is ownership of the sandwich yours?....even your very breath, is that yours? Everything that we have has been given us.......herein is the Law amplified.....herein is every facet of existence condensed into ten words

Your view of the 10 Commandments is restricted marks. It was this same view that prompted the religious leaders of Jesus day to add their own views to the Commandments peddling them as if they were God's. In regard to your sandwich illustration....consider 'thou shalt not covet'

    Not a sinner.

Let this be clear, Jesus didn't violate the Law he was charged with violating! What he was violating was the additional rules the religious folk tacked onto the Commandments. The rules had nothing to do with God's Commandments.....they (the religious leaders) made God's Commandments burdensome...

Judgment Is Executed on COVID-19: by Kenneth Copeland in Jesus's Name!!

The Pharisees relied on this view to determine who was blessed of God and who wasn't. They deemed themselves to have advantage as was highlighted in Jesus's parable of the Pharisee and the tax collector. Luke 18:10-14 “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax...

Have you considered marks that the 10 commandments embody every aspect of love presented in brief? The height, the depth, the width....all its implications and connections are within those ten words. Jesus is a living example of their application because they reflect none other than God himself...

The Jesuits ... What is their role? Part 1 and 2

The question was not ignored RogerDC; it's that you can't hear the answer.

Nancy....the text to love God and others is mostly seen as a replacement of the 10 C's when in fact it is a reiteration of them. The first four dealing with love to God, the remaining six dealing with love to man.
