    The Seed of your Righteousness

The desire to sin is in the sin nature. By crucifying the old nature on the cross, Jesus gives us a new nature, free from the desire to sin, and filled with His Spirit. Then temptations do not attract us, and we can know to quickly turn away, and never let our minds wander to dwelling on...

The Great Global Reset.... is the Great Tribulation

I need you to be aware of a typo in the post you responded to. The date is April 13, 2029, not 2020. Why do you say the 2000 years has already past? It has to do with Israel, and Christ's murder, not his birth. Or it could have to do with 70 AD which was a punishment when they were scattered...

The Great Global Reset.... is the Great Tribulation

I made a typo in my post. It is April 13, 2029, not 2020.

If one finds themselves like Paul in Romans 7......

He kinda did the same thing to me and I don't even know what he didn't agree with. I've asked, but he did say he didn't want to debate the issue. What issue???

If one finds themselves like Paul in Romans 7......

Before I read through the Living Bible, specifically Romans chapter 6, I had no idea what it meant to be dead to sin. When he wrote "why sin when you don't have to" it was a "light bulb" moment, and I understood how the Spirit empowers us to no longer have to chose sin over righteousness.

    The Seed of your Righteousness

When you mock the Word of God and what it says (the only Truth), the alternative is fairy tales, or more precise, false doctrines.

    ROFL You're too kind,Timmy, brother.

If one finds themselves like Paul in Romans 7......

Yes, like the Living Bible it is great, except for the verses that are not complete in the translations created by Westcott and Hort most modern translations are based on. Like Romans 8:1 and 1 John 5:7. There are more but those are the two I always check in any new translation that comes on the...

marks, take it up with John. You have to accept the Word of God. If not, you can believe in fairy tales for all that it will help you see Truth

    The Seed of your Righteousness

No I didn't pray that prayer, because God didn't tell me that Jesus was coming back on that weekend. I'm not Word of Faith that prays their own will and expects God to give them what they ask. That is not was the word says. There are conditions and rules to having 100% of your prayers answered...

    The Seed of your Righteousness

Yes, there are two different types of sin as John teaches in 1 John 5:16-17. When I read that I didn't say I'm not going to accept that and pat myself on my back saying, "John, I don't parse sin." It is not because I practice sins not unto death, and want to justify them, because I try to live...

If one finds themselves like Paul in Romans 7......

A paraphrase? It is the New Living TRANSLATION. That is a different Bible from the Living Bible, a paraphrase, but filled with understanding. I read the Living Bible a long time ago and when I came to Romans 6, it changed my life. I had never heard Romans 6 explained so clearly, and when I...

    The Seed of your Righteousness

I don't think you understand my relationship with the Father, at all. I'm not challenging others to claim their sinlessness, but to BECOME sinless through shedding the false doctrine that they will always sin and the blood of Jesus covers for them, hiding their sins from the Father. That's...

If one finds themselves like Paul in Romans 7......

Well, if you won't accept Colossians 2, how about Romans 8:2? "The law of the Spirit of life in Christ has FREED ME from the law of sin and death." Enoch, who was freed from Romans 7 sin nature? Read further. But we are NOT IN THE FLESH (sin nature) but in the Spirit (divine nature 2 Peter...

Poll: Tattoo art - Christian perspectives: Fight it? Ignore it? appreciate/embrace it?

I would say I appreciate it, but can't embrace it myself. Good night.

farouk, what do you believe is the main purpose out of many of receiving the Holy Spirit?

If one finds themselves like Paul in Romans 7......

I see that the Spirit has left the building. Pentecostal churches have become boring to me, and the same false doctrines of the Reformation are being repeated there. I've even had a dream that it wasn't anything more than a social club, and for me to depart from there - and I did. I came back a...

The Great Global Reset.... is the Great Tribulation

It is good to have your eyes open and think about these things so we don't get caught unawares. One thing I'm looking at is the timing of the asteroid of Revelation 8. It could be the one NASA is watching that will be here on April 13, 2029. If so, that is the 5th trumpet after the GT, so the...

If one finds themselves like Paul in Romans 7......

Not the meaning it has been given today with the "evidence" of tongues. I don't believe that. I call the baptism of the Holy Spirit the experience they received in Acts 2 and 4. Jesus said, "wait in Jerusalem" and "you shall receive POWER when the Holy Spirit comes upon you." Receiving the Holy...

If one finds themselves like Paul in Romans 7......

Yes, but they are not on the path to salvation. They only have head knowledge and the Father is still in the process of drawing them to Christ, but until they yield completely to Christ, they do not belong to Him. Matthew 7:21-23. That is what I realized after becoming born again. For 30 years...
