Thoughts about using a KJV update?

Typical response from someone who is proud and thinks they are above all others. and have no error in their thinking You have to make fun of the person who disagrees with you. This just further boasts my opinion of the English flaw of all English bibles.. and takes me further away from...

Thoughts about using a KJV update?

lolol A translation is only as good as the language it is translated in. If the language is weak, You will get a weak translation. I have faith in my bible. I have faith it will do what it needs to to make me complete in christ. (I do nto use the kjv by the way. Last time I tried to read it...

Thoughts about using a KJV update?

You can post all of this until your blue in the face my friend, It does not support your case. I repeat. Jesus: "Do you agape me?" Peter: "I phileo you" Bible Highlighter: "both are saying the same" the means people will go to to try to prove their idol bible is perfect is just astonishing

Which PROVES my comment that the ENGLISH language is flawed. Hence ANY english bible will have that inherent flaw in it. so there IS NO PERFECT FLAWLESS ENGLISH BIBLE So you show there is a difference. But then say there is none? I am sorry but it goes deeper than that. Thats why peter got...

Thoughts about using a KJV update?

I do not ignore them. I looked at them I focused on them I looked at what Jesus asked I looked at how peter responded. And I discounted your points. because they do not prove your point. They just once again help you to fail to see the truth that Peter could not tell Jesus he agape him.. And...

"If you love me, you will keep my commandments."

they somehow think they can earn a spot n the train to heaven. They will get a rude awakening when the day comes and they are left behind and instead of being resurrected by Christ, are delivered to him for judgment,

    You : shall never Perish

he who does not believed is condemned already Their state never changed, and their state, if not changed before death, will continue to remain

"If you love me, you will keep my commandments."

When God says never, he means never When God says forever, He means forever When God says eternal. He means eternal. The abrahamic covenant was unconditional. So when you claim every promise is conditional. you are proven wrong in the first book of the bible Instead of judging people. You...

"If you love me, you will keep my commandments."

1 Timothy 1:7 desiring to be teachers of the law, understanding neither what they say nor the things which they affirm. Fits them well

"If you love me, you will keep my commandments."

Good way to blame shift Before you attack others look inside. I am not pumping my chest. I know i am a sinner. I know I am unworthy. I know apart from Grace I am doomed. I just have faith in Gods promises. Unlike you who think God is a liar. When he said I have eternal life. You want me to...

Thoughts about using a KJV update?

well you did not do any such thing. You did not explain why Peter could not tell Jesus he agaped him All you did was convince yourself you have the truth regarding this issue.

Thoughts about using a KJV update?

No, I stated the early church had to go someplace to have the word read to them. Please get it right. was i wrong?? and how is that disregarding scripture?

"If you love me, you will keep my commandments."

We are not deceived in thinking we are perfect, walking around pumping our chests like a pharisee.. But thanks for your response.

Thoughts about using a KJV update?

The fact is, the english language only has one word (love) to interpret 4 words in the greek. Its not the interpretors fault. I can not blame them, It is the flaw of our own language. Again, the KJV is a word for word. The ONLY word you could use was love hence as I said, the flaw of the...

"If you love me, you will keep my commandments."

He is delusional thinking he can keep all ten perfectly as it is. When someone says they keep them. I think of those who told Jesus that. They did not get the hint when Jesus tried to get them to look inside to see they were deceived either.

Thoughts about using a KJV update?

Jesus comes from Iesus (greek) I have always wondered that myself.. You would think we would want to call him by his given name.. Not a made up transliterated one. Christ comes from Christos.. another transliterated vs translated word.. which means the anointed one.

Thoughts about using a KJV update?

Like I said, You will only see what you want to see Jesus asked peter if he agape him Peter said he phileo him Ignore the difference here all you want. Peter did not respond to Jesus that he loved him the way Jesus asked him You will not see that from ANY English text. for those of us who...
