    Are Jehovah's witnesses real Christians?

The same with John 12:49. Not much of a God who was sent, submits to the will of another person, only says what he’s told and even HOW to say it. As you point out, if Jesus were the all powerful Creator, it is odd that he cannot even chose who sits next to him. And he admits he is less than and...

What does Colossians 1:16 mean when it says "For by him were all things created..."

EXACTLY! And what the verse says is Jesus is NOT God. Everything was created FOR and THROUGH but not BY Jesus. So simple, even a trinitarian can understand it.

What does Colossians 1:16 mean when it says "For by him were all things created..."

I see you cannot simply answer a simple yes or no question.

    Are Jehovah's witnesses real Christians?

It is more complicated than saying the simple truth that he is unequal. You are not buying it because you’re indoctrinated into a complicated lie over the simple truth. And the inequality is more than rank. As I said, death, knowledge will, what to say and how to say it are all unequal...

What does Colossians 1:16 mean when it says "For by him were all things created..."

Angels are from above. Doesn’t make them God either.

What does Colossians 1:16 mean when it says "For by him were all things created..."

No sir! John 1:1-4 is talking about God not Jesus who is not introduced until v14.

What does Colossians 1:16 mean when it says "For by him were all things created..."

Really? The entire purpose of Christ's ministry, to re-create, to make man born again of Spirit not flesh, you do not see at all? Wow! Or do you merely mean that you do not see it in Col 1:16?

What does Colossians 1:16 mean when it says "For by him were all things created..."

Thanks for starting this thread. :) I've been tempted to compile a list of refutations of common trinitarian appeals. John 1:1, the Oneness doctrine and Col 1:16 rank at the top of legs they often use support their man-made dogma. Here is where biased trinitarian translators seek to modify...

    "Think " Tank

Friend, I asked the same question without seeing yours yet. If she responded to me the way she replied to you, I would like to think I'd reflect more grace. In a lot of threads I reply with Bless Your Heart. I say that to you more than most. Like Nancy, I'll leave this jungle.

    "Think " Tank

Great question. What would you accept as authentication? For instance, the Bible records God talking to prophets through out. Or do you require the Almighty to come to you in a voice from heaven and state to you that the collection of books is his word and nothing short of that will be...

What benefit does it produce to make Jesus God

Agreed. Even the demons know Jesus is not God. The demons identified Jesus as the son of the most high. They did not identify him AS the most high incarnate. To use trinitarian logic regarding worship, Jesus did not rebuke the demons for failing to identify has as god so that proves Jesus is...

    Are Jehovah's witnesses real Christians?

I'm not attempting to but came right out and said. it. You keep repeating the statement that Jesus is unequal to God but say it in a more complicated way.

    Are Jehovah's witnesses real Christians?

Then you are not talking about our lord and savior Jesus Christ, who Scripture repeatedly says is a man. For no apparent reason, you are merely asserting equality, pretending Jesus limited his inferiority to God to Jesus' human nature when he made no such qualifying statement. Jesus never...

    Are Jehovah's witnesses real Christians?

Great point. How one can possibly read John and conclude he is definitely NOT God is to read the text WITHOUT imposing a trinitarian interpretation unto the unitarian text. For instance 20:31 explicitly says everything he wrote was to prove something other than the idea that Jesus is God. So...

    Are Jehovah's witnesses real Christians?

I really have no idea what you mean by this. Unless multiple posts are quoted, poster are replying ONLY to the post they quote.

    Are Jehovah's witnesses real Christians?

You are the one making a statement that is more than clouded, it is contradictory. To say "except for all the ways they are not equal, one is equal to another" is just a complicated way of saying they are not equal.

    Are Jehovah's witnesses real Christians?

I didn't say Jesus said that but what Jesus said is that God is greater than he and know more than he does. On top of that Jesus died and God is eternal and cannot change. So, the notion of identifying what people have in common is NOT how you define being equal. If they are unequal in ANY way...

    Are Jehovah's witnesses real Christians?

That makes him unequal, right? Odd that Jesus is said to not seek equality with God and you are saying he’s equal.

What benefit does it produce to make Jesus God

Wrong! Of all books ever written in the Bible is especially credited with his directness written in stone, thou shall not, 1 C, Shema, etc.
