How do you respond to "Christians are hypocrites"?

SG, man has the ability to generate an interest in anything, be it collecting little bits of paper (stamps) or deliberately increasing the noise of an engine (perhaps it gives them a sense of power) or tattoos and body piercings....the list goes on, all the while thinking they have something...

How do you respond to "Christians are hypocrites"?

When asked if I'm a Christian I endeavour to say I believe Jesus died and was resurrected for you and me, do you believe that? The term 'Christian' is too loose for me...who knows what ideas people have in their heads about Christianity the which I am not associated with. Besides, my answer...

    How Important Truth?

Using your logic Oz, Abraham must have been in hades as well to have Lazarus in his bosom.....see how it doesn't stack up?

How do you respond to "Christians are hypocrites"?

yes, you want evidence, you want texts, you want, you want but you miss the point. Are you familiar with the scripture that states 'forever learning but never coming to a knowledge of the truth?'

How do you respond to "Christians are hypocrites"?

I see you include yourself but is it advisable to pool 'most' others into the party?

    How Important Truth?

Our patience herein is taken out of the dictionary and put into real life not to mention our faith in God's righteous ways for as the scripture says, everything will be brought into judgement at the appointed time. What appears as winners now will certainly be revealed as having had their reward.

So, what does God expect of us?

Your lack of insight mjrhealth and your twisting approach witnesses against you.

How do you respond to "Christians are hypocrites"?

Knowing something does not necessarily equate to speaking about it. For example, I can recognise incompetence or hypocrisy but I don't need to make it the centre point of my conversation, in fact I don't even need to agree with this verdict of others. I can remain silent and let the silence take...

    How Important Truth?

My heart agrees with this but my body want redress. I saw a movie recently called 'The Brave One'. It evoked all manner of contradictory emotions one being the satisfaction in forced justice. It's thrust was about a couple who got violently mugged, the lady of which thereafter purchased a...

“I will shew thee my faith by my works.“

The problem is not with the scripture. The scripture is consistent as it is God's word. If it is not understood or if it is thought it doesn't add up, it is because of a flaw in our own thinking/logic/paradigm. Would you have the courage to consider that?

    The Abomination of Desolation?

He spoke to the disciples but also to us. The time line spoken of does not limit his words to the lifetime of the Disciples. That should be clear by its context.

So, what does God expect of us?

He expects that we exercise a good conscience. He expects that we walk the talk and he expects that what we give off as his children is the aroma of heaven. I would ask, how can anybody fulfil these expectations unless God's Spirit abides in him/her......without the Spirit it is impossible...

This Truly Is THE Most Appropriate forum for this 1914 Protestant Speech...

The author of these lectures has a deep sense of humour, is informative and unashamedly exposes the MONSTROUS system of Rome. Whoever hasn't taken the time to read these short presentations needs to do themselves a favour and do just that. You may never see the Roman Church with the same eyes again!

    How Important Truth?

What is it that you don't like about God's commandments? Do they highlight your resistance to how God governs his universe? Does orderly and decent conduct offend you and is faith for you that term by which any sin can be covered? Your charge of 'playing at being a Jew' is ignorant and...

Great Biblical lyrics in effective hard rock: Disciple's 'Radical'

The trip you are on has a religious face but what you post denies it. What comes out of the mouth or in this case the pen is the overflowing of the heart!
