How Powerful is the Blood of Jesus?

What I like about you is that as teachers, we have to also be open minded to learn from other good teachers, and from the Spirit, James 1:5. Many denominational teachers are closed minded.

How Powerful is the Blood of Jesus?

jbf, The Lord Prayer talks of trespasses, not willful sins of lawlessness. And Leviticus 5:15 speaks of trespasses as unintentionally committed. It is the intentions of the heart that God looks at. Willfulness is rebellion against God; and rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft.

Does ALL sins include "Past, Present and Future" sins?

Flesh and blood, as in our body? No where? But our nature, that is called "the flesh" by Paul, is changed and made eternal, whereas our body will still have to die. And, of course, Romans 7:18 is talking about our pre-born again state of our nature. That is BEFORE coming to Jesus. Oy vey!

How Powerful is the Blood of Jesus?

As per the title of this OP, you do not know the power and supernatural ability of the blood of Jesus to completely cleanse us of all our past sins, and change our nature, called born again, to not commit willful lawless sins in the present or future. Now THAT'S power! And you don't seem to be...

Does ALL sins include "Past, Present and Future" sins?

Seeing as you dish them out, you should practice what you preach.

If it is inappropriate, I just won't answer you at all, and just skip that post.

Does ALL sins include "Past, Present and Future" sins?

You know perfectly well what I believe, and the sin of 1 John 3:6 is 1 John 3:4. As I keep telling you, context matters.

Does ALL sins include "Past, Present and Future" sins?

I know what you are talking about, but you are disregarding the gospel. Jesus was manifest to take away our sin, and in Him there is no sin. That doesn't mean that we can sin, and it doesn't count as sin.

Does ALL sins include "Past, Present and Future" sins?

John the Baptist was not the Messiah; it had nothing to do with sin. He didn't have the title.

What business is it of yours?

Does ALL sins include "Past, Present and Future" sins?

A "Christian" who sins doesn't have a relationship with Christ. 1 John 3:6 6 Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.

Is it right for a Christian to hold a Bible in one hand and a doobie in the other?

Only to a Mormon. Tea is a natural plant that God made for its many benefits.

Does ALL sins include "Past, Present and Future" sins?

In order to become a Christian we must repent, Truther. That is an element of the milk of the gospel. Acts 2:38. But if someone truly repents, then Jesus gives them the Holy Spirit to super-sensitize their conscience where suddenly the laws of God are written and they become your nature. So if...

Is it right for a Christian to hold a Bible in one hand and a doobie in the other?

Much depends on who you are with. Do everything in love. If you are with an alcoholic, or a religious tea-totaler, do not abuse your liberty.

Does ALL sins include "Past, Present and Future" sins?

It seems all you want is a repeat of the milk of the gospel, and are not ready for the meat.

Does ALL sins include "Past, Present and Future" sins?

Good morning Randy, Why do you believe Christians struggle under the New Covenant? It was only under the Old Covenant that they struggled because of their sin nature? They went to Abraham's bosom when they died, but with Christ's resurrection, they rose too and were seen walking around...

Does ALL sins include "Past, Present and Future" sins?

Martin Luther was wrong, and that statement of "even if we commit murder and adultery 1000 times a day it will not separate us from God," is an embarrassment to Lutherans.

Does ALL sins include "Past, Present and Future" sins?

You contradict your own beliefs. Why would God chastise His Children is He doesn't see their sin? You believe our sins are all covered up by the blood of Jesus, and the Father doesn't see. And people with that faulty reasoning go on sinning, so is it any wonder that a God that demands holiness...

Does ALL sins include "Past, Present and Future" sins?

You have no idea what it means to be born again of the Spirit and have the laws of the New Covenant written on our hearts. I'm a Christian, and so, naturally, I act like one. If I was a sinner, then that is what I would act like. We do what comes naturally, and my new nature lets me naturally...
