    my watchtower meeting a summary

Jesus will draw you Michael, thats how he does it. These verses that stick out for you is evidence of that. In my early period as a believer, these texts supported me and brought me much comfort. When texts stick out they need to be taken note of. Thank God for his guidance.

    Yes, that's highly probable.

You will gravitate to where you are fed Michael. If that means only in God's company you will know if you listen to the still small voice.

    Outer Darkness

It is a play on words you are pursuing Taken, to justify a view that is not supported by scripture (the word of God) A dangerous manoeuvre.

Evidence it seems you would not recognise even if one rose from the dead djstav.

    Outer Darkness

Hell is/are the final purging fires that will purify the Earth. Everything that loves and creates sin will be destroyed including death. Folk who have rejected the offer of Life, ie, those who who do not want forgiveness, those who are in determined opposition to God will reap what they've sown...

Total destruction means annihilation. You can be certain of that, no caveats. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Probably the text most well known of the scriptures. Is the glaringly...

    Outer Darkness

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Notice the words 'perish' and 'eternal life'. These are juxtaposed. The word 'perish' has the same end result as destroy or die. The words 'eternal...

Here is you quote Taken. In particular what I have highlighted. Taken said: ↑ Disagree. Living souls IN a living body; Have opportunity... To believe in God, In Christ. To Accept Salvation Jesus' Offering of Salvation... Now or not. Some Accept; Jesus' Offering; and become saved now, and Are...

    Outer Darkness

The meaning of the word destruction need not be twisted, turned or reinvented. It is self evident what it means. Didn't Lucifer play that game with Eve? The clear, straightforward statement of God he cast doubt on. God said to the pair they would die, Lucifer said they would not. Who are you...

Sorry Taken, this is weaving the garment for the soon to be revealed naked Emperor.

The scapegoat is symbolic of Satan not people. The expression 'wandering stars' is akin to the expression 'a ship without a rudder' If one needs to explain metaphors it is indicative that they are not understood.

    Outer Darkness

'Outer darkness' is just another expression for total destruction. If we do not understand it this way and try to make these expressions walk on all fours so to speak, we open a never ending can of worms unable to be solved. It would give rise to questions like, 'if there is outer darkness where...

    Outer Darkness

I think some qualification is needed here. We don't seem to have any problem understanding what is meant by 'he ascended' as we have the record in Acts 1:9-11 but may I ask how you understand 'he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth'?

    John 9:35-41

What do I think? I think you are muddled. You need to go back to the scriptures and check your information.

    Jesus and Commands

Calling the first day of the week Enoch, the Lords Day, is a private interpretation. The scripture does not support your private interpretation. The Lords Day is and has always been the seventh day of the week. This has been amply shown in many previous posts on the subject.

    John 9:35-41

Your logic Enoch makes no scriptural sense. You are attempting to build on an error.

    John 9:35-41

Firstly GG, with respect but you are moving from one assumption and building another. Your points: 1.. If we have a soul 2.. it is surely eternal 1...The scripture tells us that we are souls. We do not posses them as if they are an addition to who we are. 'And the Lord God formed man of the...
