"Salvation" is the gift of Eternal Life - it's FOREVER.

Actually the major one was legalistic or licentious you had the jews on one hand, and you had the easy believers on the other hand Prety much the same as we have today, although the legalists are more than just jews.

"Salvation" is the gift of Eternal Life - it's FOREVER.

Nope I am obsessed with the false teaching of grac eplus works for salvation. Please get it right Obeying God is works. Yet you say you never mention works. lol. Are you catholic? Do you think I blindly follow my pastor? I do not blindly follow any person. I take what they say, and test by...

"Salvation" is the gift of Eternal Life - it's FOREVER.

I do. You want me to look 200 years after the apostles left. Lets stick to what the apostles taught, what say you? And not what a bunch of men 200 years later decided.. ok? What say you? lol. There were false teachers in the time of the NT authors. Paul spoke of being disqualified to teach...

    Secure Eternal Salvation

yep And the roman empire overthrough that church in the 300's. shut it up. and sent them underground, and created the monster you belong to today.

Predestined to be saved or lost?

the bolded part places self in the equation. the mere fact God predestined us to be conformed to the image of his sin before time began removes self from the equation. Because it makes God out to be a liar and a failure.
  6. Eternally Grateful

"Salvation" is the gift of Eternal Life - it's FOREVER.

Yep they were returning to the law. A religion which stated one can fall away, and must be resaved (renewed to repentance) again. there are many churches whih in effect teach this very same thing, it is applicable to them as well. Yes we do have this problem, any come out of legalistic...

"Salvation" is the gift of Eternal Life - it's FOREVER.

heb 6 says those who fall away can not be renewed. all I can do is go by what it isaid as far as eternal life. and it being what God gave us the moment we had faith in him. I have given you many verses about that

"Salvation" is the gift of Eternal Life - it's FOREVER.

I could care less what they say, But I can tell you the mainstream church (the roman catholic church) that started in the 300's did not teach OSAS. and they burned any writings, and imprisoned anyone who believed otherwise. So if your going to use history to try to disprove eternal security...

"Salvation" is the gift of Eternal Life - it's FOREVER.

IF THEY COULD FALL AWAY you might have a point. But since they can not. Your point is mute. That is the point the author is making, If a person returns to the law. they are at the point they will never even attempt to return to Christ. Because they have been there done that. Thay will have...

    Secure Eternal Salvation

Your church? Sorry, But I disagree with you. They teach what has been handed down to them or changed by the pope since the third century AD when it was created
  11. Eternally Grateful

Predestined to be saved or lost?

But he did not predestine those to go to hell. Otherwise, he could not offer them salvation for them to reject
  12. Eternally Grateful

Predestined to be saved or lost?

what is predestined is the will of God whoever believes has eternal life.

    Secure Eternal Salvation

This is probably the best explanation I have heard. Amen. former Catholics protested the church. They are protestant. That has nothing to do with me and many others today.
  14. Eternally Grateful

    Secure Eternal Salvation

amen to the last line, amen

    Secure Eternal Salvation

Yep he did And his church would teach what the apostles taught, and the word would be their only Guide. If a church teaches different that what the bible teaches. we have to look elsewhere for the truth, Much like the jews in Jesus day Had to go outside what God had set up in the priesthood...

WOULD YOU LIKE TO JOIN A NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH?

again it comes to interpretation. If they would seek the word instead of listening to what they are told. they would see the truth "you are peter (petros, a stone or pebble) and on this ROCK (Boulder large stone) I will build my church Peter is the small stone. one of the foundation stone...

  18. Eternally Grateful

    Secure Eternal Salvation

yep there is only truth we agree on something.
  19. Eternally Grateful

WE NEED TO BE BORN AGAIN.

Actually it is the ONLY possible way Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but by his mercy he saved us You give mercy to the undeserving, to the hopeless. to those who can not help themselves We are saved by Grace through faith, not of works lest anyone should boast. We are...

WOULD YOU LIKE TO JOIN A NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH?

reminds me of many jews. More afraid of the priesthood Sadducee and pharisees than they were of God
