The faithful and the saints: Bringing Calvinism and Arminianism together.

Do Armenians teach salvation can be lost? I have yet to meet one (I have only met a few mind you) and they all believe salvation can be lost. One of their biggest arguments against calvinisim is the fact Calvinists think salvation is eternally secure. Which they reject. I have disagree free...

The faithful and the saints: Bringing Calvinism and Arminianism together.

I am not talking about perseverance. I am talking about where ones faith is placed. A Calvinist places their total faith in Christ An Armenian by definition has to place faith in self. Otherwise. There could be no loss of salvation possible.

The faithful and the saints: Bringing Calvinism and Arminianism together.

I am sorry my friend I can not agree One side teaches salvation can be lost, its based on what we do The other side teaches salvation can not be lost because it is not based on us. They teach two different gospels.

    Secure Eternal Salvation

Anyone who thinks faith is simply belief does not understand faith Mere belief will not work. Because it has no trust. It will fail, it will fall away. Faith is an assurance.. Where as belief is just knowledge Many believe in Christ, very few actually are persuaded in Christ.

    Secure Eternal Salvation

Yeah in reality you are Love and obedience are RESULTS of faith. Not requirements for faith Hope is what our faith is based on, As far as our eternal destination Goes. The word says our hope is in eternal life. WHich God, who can not lie, promised before time began, That same eternal life...

Can see what your saying sort of. However 1. Christ was the anointed of God who would come and be king. I will not be a king 2. Christ is the son of God. While I am a son of God as a child of God. I am not The son of god 3. Christ was perfect in love and in all ways. While it should be all of...

Who Falls From Grace & Who Falls Short Of It?

Amen. Not by works of righteousness (good deeds) which we have done, but by his mercy HE SAVED US

Who Falls From Grace & Who Falls Short Of It?

I prefer eternal security. Perseverance of the saints appears to say the person himself will persevere and in the end not fall away, In stead of the person being secure in christ. Which is their hope John said he wrote us a whole book so we can KNOW we have eternal life. And by this knowledge...

I disagree, they were never sanctified. If they were, they were perfected forever. Paul said he who began a good work in you will complete it. When we claim the work God started in the sanctification process can fail. We are calling God a failure. Again, We can not justify ourself. We can...

It does not matter what it means to you. It matters what it means. Messiah is the hebrew word. If you were tryign to translate the hebrew word messiah to greek, you would use the word Christos. Christ is not even a word. Its a transliteration of the greek word. Which is a translation of the...

    I'm a non-Christian, where can I post?

You do realise the word CHrist is the english transliteration of the greek word “christos” which is just the greek translation of the hebrew word Messiah do you not So saying we become christ is no different than saying we become Christos, which is no different than saying we become messiah...

Who Falls From Grace & Who Falls Short Of It?

I believe you Have misunderstood both passages. Heb 6 is talking about those who have returned to law. Which states you can fall away, and need to be renewed. The author states the law is unable. Because if you could fall away as the law states. You could never be renewed to repentance. What...

Melchisedec and How Jesus Learned Obedience and was Made Perfect.

I brought up Christ. And you claimed I was saying things about Christ which were not true Your OSAS rants are nothing to me. I was not discussing OSAS. If you can not pay attention to what people are discussing with you. then I will just move on
